chapter 1

I layed on the floor scrolling through the channels on TV, looking for something interesting. It was Tuesday so Alex and Jared left already for school. I'm home schooled so I already finished my work. I had my wings spread out across the living room and I settled on watching an episode of the Simpsons. There was a knock at the door as I looked up to the door. "WHO IS IT?" I yelled at the door. "Uhhhhhmmmm.... A monkey that escaped the zoo?" I laughed and sat up leaning against the couch. "Come in" I said as the door opened. Troy walked in holding three plastic bags. "Um... I don't think its smart to just have those out and laying around." He said estering to my wings as he set down the bags on the table.

I stood up and walked to the table, "ya I know but I would've hid them if it wasn't you or Alex. Anyways what's it the bags?" I sat down in one of the chairs. "Oh ya, Chinese takeout." He pulled out two boxes out of the bags, and I got up to get plates and set the table.

I layed across the couch on my back with my feet propped up on Troy's lap as we watched a movie. There was a sudden knock on the front door before the sound of keys unlocking the door. I quickly his my wings and sat up on the couch. "Hey hey." Jared said with my brother following closely behind. "Hey!" Troy said as I waved. "We brought food" my brother said. "Seriously?!?!! We just ate, oh well I always have room for more." I sighed patting my stomach. "I never said we brought any for you." He laughed at me. "Of course you didn't." Troy got up off the couch and yawned. "Oh well its late I got to be home by nine."

Troy said putting his shoes back on. "Wait but its 7:30 and you live like three house down." I laughed throwing the sock he was looking for at him, "I know but you people are just boring." He said slipping on his other shoe. "Whatever good night I'm going to bed too I guess." I stood up and walked upstairs to my room. "Goodnight!" Alex yelled up the stairs. I changed into fuzzy pajam pants and a tank top and hopped in bed

I woke up to the fire alarm going off and I ran down stairs to see the entire kitchen covered inn smoke. I opened a window to vent out the place and saw jared and alex burning food. "What in the world are you two doing??? Its like six in the morning!!" I coughed from lack of fresh air. "I was trying to cook breakfast??" Alex said in more of a question. "Honey.... I thought we already went over that you two can't cook."

Hey guys so first chapter,and I know its really short but, what do you think???? Because I really want to make this a big book like a lot of chapters, because my other book I'm only gonna make until like 30 chapters or so but ya and thanks to Cora_Cakes for the title!!! So ya
