~Aislinn's POV~
The last thing I remembered seeing was Draco's face. But the next thing I knew, I awoke in a soft bed that was definitely not my own. I was still in my clothes, but this was not my room. It was a huge room with very tall ceilings and lots of light coming in through big windows on one wall. I get out of the bed and look around for any clues as to where I might be. I check for my wand to find that it's not on me or anywhere in the room. I find a closet and a bathroom, but nothing pointing to what I was here for or what this place is.
I couldn't figure out whose house this was, or if I was here to be killed or interrogated or what. But I would've really liked to find out. I sat on a small sofa that was pushed off into a corner, looking around at the room. I began to fidget with my hands as a nervous habit when the doorknob turned and I quickly stood up.
It was Draco. Before he even began talking I assumed that I wasn't here to be killed because he was wearing a t-shirt and I thought that he would be dressed more formally for my execution. I scoffed loudly and shook my head, I was so tired of this game with him.
"Aislinn, please listen to me. You're--" he begins, but I cut him off.
"What? I'm not here to be killed?! I really wish that you would just kill me or do whatever you're going to do already! What on Earth could you possibly want from me now?!" I yell, putting my arms up in protest.
"When the Dark Lord made a plan to kidnap you, I couldn't let it happen," he begins, walking towards me with his hands up in a defeated manner. "They were going to take you and use you for everything that you knew, and then kill you when you had exhausted your usefulness to them,", "But we're safe here, Aislinn. You're safe here. No one knows that you're here.", "I couldn't let them kill you."
I scoffed, shaking my head. I glanced at him for a moment and I thought I saw genuine concern in his face, but I shook it off and walked past him and out the door.

After looking around for an hour or so to find some real clothes, I found a library filled with books up to the ceiling. I decided that if everyone was going to try and make sure that I was anywhere except for Hogwarts, I could at least study up on the things that I would be missing.
Draco would come around every so often to check on me, but would pick out books and read a few pages from them so it wouldn't look suspicious. I wasn't sure what to think. That whole monologue he had when I had first gotten here seemed real but I didn't know if I could be sure when it came to him. I couldn't stop wondering if it was all a trap. I definitely wasn't sure if I could trust him, and he still hadn't even told me where this huge change of heart came from when a few weeks ago it seemed like he couldn't have cared less if I died.
That night, I wandered around until I found a kitchen and a dining room to see if there was any food here. Unfortunately there was food, but there was also Draco in the kitchen making everything more awkward than it needed to be. I made oatmeal and sat as far away from him at the table as humanly possible. He tried to start conversation once or twice but gave up after I completely ignored him. I finished my food quickly and retreated back to the library, settling into a cozy chair and dozing off to an Ancient Runes textbook.

~Draco's POV~
It didn't take long for me to become frustrated with Aislinn's lack of interest in any of my help with anything. Since we'd been here, I had given her absolutely no reason not to trust me. I saved her life, did she not realize that? I'd been going through such a stressful time trying to figure out that damned Room of Requirement and I never wanted to hurt her at Hogwarts. When I had spoken to her, I liked her, and I wanted to know her. But how was I supposed to do that when everyone in her life was telling her I was no good? I'll do whatever it takes to convince her that I'm serious about this.
Some time after dinner, I went into the library to pretend like I was reading some books to make sure that she was still doing okay. I didn't hear pages turning, or any noise at all actually. I walk through the shelves of books to find her asleep on a chair, an open book laying across her lap. I couldn't help but laugh.
I gently picked up the book off her lap and marked her page, picking her up as her head laid lazily on my chest. I made my way to her room and I settled her into her bed, covering her sleeping figure with a blanket. I took one last glance at her and sighed, leaving the room.

~Harry's POV~
I had gotten news that Aislinn went missing from the Dursleys'. There was almost no way for Voldemort to have found her there. She was safer there than at Hogwarts. I know that Draco had threatened her. If he had anything to do with this, I wouldn't hesitate to end him.
"Are you sure she was safe there, Harry? Didn't Voldemort know that you were staying there for most of your life?" said Hermione, as her and Ron walked alongside me to History of Magic.
"Hermione, I'm positive. There are enough muggles in the world that for all Voldemort knows, Aislinn could be on the other side of the world," I said, sighing and rushing along the corridor.
I told Aislinn that she would be safe there I had felt like I let her down. I had to find her before something bad happened. I had just gotten her back for the first time in my whole life and I didn't want to let anyone get in the way of that. I didn't know who did it but I did know that whoever it was was going to be dead, soon.

Hi guys! I'm trying to make these chapters a little less dramatic and so Aislinn is a lot less of a drama queen and like things aren't as cheesy. I hope you guys are enjoying the revisions so far. I'm having a lot of fun going back to my writing that I haven't really read in like 5 ish years. Thank you guys so much for reading, leave a comment telling me what you thought!
