What's the Big Idea?

so this is kind of late but it's really cause i kept on postponing it

for all 5sos fans out there who had freaking life palpitations after listening to sounds good feel good.... i feel you

and for those of you who didn't and haven't even heard the album yet (wyd???), I'd like to give my own PERSONAL OPINION and review on the SHFG track list

and yes I'm not going to pretend that all the songs were perfect because truly there were some really sucky ones

money: so basically all i got from this song was the boys wanting to hook up with groupies/fans??? wasn't one of my favorites tbh

hey everybody: the first kind of new age, anthemy broken scene kinda song. i actually rlly like this song but after hearing she's kinda hot am i the only one who thinks they sound really alike? and like with the same kind of message too. and i love those boys to death but i kinda thought the music video was a bit childish??

she's kinda hot: by far one of my fave songs on the album. i think the band was smart to make this their first single. it's just really catchy and relatable y'know?

permanent vacation: i swear this song has such a catchy tune it's been stuck in my head for like 45 years. and am i the only who starts bobbing my head uncontrollably when that bridge comes in??

jet black heart: by far one of my faves on the album. i feel like this song truly embodies just how much they've grown as artistes since their last album. it's got amazing lyrics, a catchy tune and let's not forget the amount of freakin GUITAR SHREDDING exhibited in that song. plus ashton on those drums ?? nahhhh fam im dead already

catch fire: also a very A1 song in my opinion. lukes vocals were on point. catchy tune. an acapella bridge that inflicts emotional frustration , what more could you want?

safety pin: so i like this song but it's weird cause i wish they had just like come up with a different chorus?? i wasn't a fan of it. i mean during the verses im like writhing around in my room filled with teenage angst ( especially in the second verse when michael does that puking sound in the background fml) but the chorus just kinda fell flat for me tbh. i mean ace lyrics and all but that chorus was just a bit too generic

waste the night : okay so the first time i heard this song i was so surprised ?? it's so different from their usual sound and im happy that they branched out a bit because it was an awesome song tbh. idk it had kinda the same feel as disconnected, that kinda 1975 disco sound ??

vapor: tbh this is the song i always skip over
