Aphmau's eyes shut from unconsciousness. The arrow was on her stomach. But the arrow was different.... The arrow... Was black... A darkened aura around it. The arrow dissolved into a black ash. I looked at her wound to see it was gone. I sighed in relief.
"Thank Irene," I sighed.
I carried her in my arms and tightly held her. Then an arrow whizzed by my head. The same kind of arrow that hit Aph. I started to run with all my might. Holding Aphmau tighter each step I ran. Arrows kept shooting at me. But I kept dodging and running as far as I could. This assassin just wouldn't give up it seems... But why?
Once we got to the outsides of Phoenix Drop, I had ran out of breath. I felt something hit my back. I hesitantly looked at my back to see the same arrow Aphmau was hit with. But this time.... I felt a pain rush through my shoulders. There was the hard ground under my back. Aphmau laying right next to me. I felt my eyes close slowly. I heard a faint voice yelling my name... Desperately telling me to wake up... I felt someone touch were my heart was.
"Garroth... Please... Don't give up..."
