Aphmau's P.O.V

Garroth... Was gone.... He was gone.... And I was too late... 

I held him tighter, while tears fell more and more from my shattered eyes. He was gone... But I couldn't just let him go... I don't want him to leave me.... But.... I did it all..... Because.... I'm the monster.....

Garroth's P.O.V

Pitch black

All I could see. Just in darkness... I then saw a light...

A mirror... I somehow was brought closer to it to see...

Aphmau... Crying... Holding... Me...

I could feel guilt in me. I had asked her that question... That question for us to be together... Forever... That question that could and MAY........... Just haunt her for the rest of her life....

*A/N Wow you guys seriously don't remember that part when I did 'Dream or is it' Thing in one of the chapters... YESH! But yes Y'ALL GOT FOOLED! Hey don't hate me! At least he ain't dead!*

I woke up to see myself on the ground... Chains on my arms and ankles. I then had heard a groan. I looked up to see Aph.... On the other side of this cell... Wait... Are we... 

Were still in O'kasis?

Once Aph had fully awakened, she saw me. 

"GARROTH," She yelled trying to get to me.

But she had restraints like mine. But she fell? She grunted in pain. Breathing sharply trying to catch air.

"APH! WHAT'S WRONG," I hollered.

"...."

No answer. Aph held her chest. Where the pain must be... 

I felt my chains wither away. I looked to see they were gone... But how? I looked up to see.... The Shadow Lord? No emotion. Nothing but silence. He then sank through the walls and had left. I looked over to Aph to see her chains off as well. But still holding her chest tightly. 

"Aphmau!" 

I stood up and ran over to her. I knelt down to look at her. 

"Aphmau?"

She sighed," I'm fine... Nothing to be worried about..."

I put her on my lap while she sat. I tightly hugged her. I let her go once. I won't again.

"Garroth..."

"Hm?"

"D-Did I..... Kill you," She asked in guilt.

I sighed and looked at her," Aphmau no. Whatever that was, must've been a dream all along... But that doesn't explain why I am here and you are too. Because last time I checked I was corrupted..."

We then heard a laugh... A familiar laugh...

"Well, Brother you are right about that. But you weren't corrupted anymore... All your little love talk was still in your head it seems."

Zane....

"What do you want Zane," I asked making no contact with his face.

He chuckled in amusement, "Her..."

I looked at him with fury, "NEVER! I AM NOT LETTING YOUR HANDS ON HER EVER AGAIN!"

He then had shown an evil piercing smirk on his face, "Then you would rather watch Phoenix Drop burn to dust?"

Aphmau's breath became hesitant. 

"Zane. Can Garroth and me talk in private," She asked.

Zane groaned and had left us. Aphmau looked at me with a saddened face.

"Garroth... Let me go..."

"WHAT!?"

"Yes, Just..... Go help Phoenix Drop while they can..."

"WAIT! Can't you have us both-"

"No... I figured out why... The Shadow Lord must've put a barrier for me to not leave. But.... I'm not sure about you.. So... I'll try..."

"APHMAU NO!"

"Please Garroth! I just..... Have Phoenix Drop.... Have everyone... Have our friends and family.... And...-"

"Wait and," I thought.

"-.... Our Sons... Safe...."

I froze at the word Sons.

"A-Aph-"

"I accept your proposal.... Garroth...."

I felt tears surround my eyes. They started to slide down my cheeks down to the ground. I had tightly hugged her not wanting to let her go.... Again....

"Garroth... Please... Just promise me that," She pleaded.

"Not unless you promise me this," I yelled.

I felt her nod and I sighed.

"Aphmau... Promise me that you will come home and we can all be a family once again..."

I started to feel tears on my shoulder. 

"I don't know if I can Garroth."

That one answer.... But she's right.... We may never know what is ahead of us. But..... I'd rather give her that promise... Then not receiving mine.

She sighed," Alright... Let's bring you home..."

I hesitantly let go of her. She stood up and I did as well.

"Goodbye... Garroth..." She said with a sad smile.

Pain.... That same pain...

Next thing I knew... I was back home in front of the gates

But there was something missing

Something that I had last saw...
