Leigh-Anne's heartbeat raced with adrenaline. This moment was hers. The crowd was depending on her to make the goal and win the game. It was all or nothing.
Leigh-Anne lifted her foot and kicked the ball. The ball went flying at full speed. She watches as the goalie tried her best to catch the ball but it was too late , the ball had already went in.
The crowd erupted into a loud cheer. Leigh-Anne had a huge smile on her face. Her team had won the most important game of their life and it was all because of her. Mrs. Hartford, the team coach, came running over and lifted the girl off her feet. The rest of the team came too, patting on her back, screaming, and some even crying tears of joy.
Everyone was happy that they had won, all except one, Jade Thirlwall. Jade was the captain of the football (soccer) team they just beat. It was no secret that Jade hated losing. All she ever wanted to do was win and if she didn't she would be pissed. And it was no secret that Jade and Leigh-Anne's team were rivals.
This particular rival went back years and years. So you can say Jade was extremely pissed when Leigh's team won. And Leigh-Anne knew that Jade would be pissed so she made it her mission to rub it all the Jade's face.
Leigh-Anne carried the trophy over to where Jade stood with a smug smile on her face. "Hi Jadey."
Jade scoffed at the stupid nickname Leigh-Anne gave to her. "What do you want?"
"Did you see my new trophy? I won it." Leigh-Anne said.
Jade gave the girl an annoyed look. She wanted nothing more than the girl to disappear.
"You see only winners get to have one and well you aren't exactly a winner. You are a loser, a l-o-s-e-r." Leigh-Anne continued.
And that was the last straw for Jade. She grabbed Leigh-Anne's arms and pushed her into a wall, making Leigh-Anne drop the trophy. Leigh-Anne let out a shocked gasp as her back hit the wall.
"I am not a loser okay." Jade said in a low voice. "I'm better than you'll ever be. Just because you're captain of a shitty team does not mean you're any good."
Leigh-Anne let out a laugh. "If I'm not any good then how come me and my shitty team won ever game we've had against you this year? If I'm not any good then how come I have a trophy and you don't?"
Leigh-Anne smirked at Jade's reaction. The girl looked as though she'd been kicked in the gut. She pried the girl's hands off her and picked up the trophy.
"Face it Jade, I'm better than you now and I always will be." Leigh-Anne said before walking off with a victorious smile.
Jade thought over Leigh-Anne's words. Was Leigh-Anne better than her now? Sure she had an off season but that doesn't mean Leigh-Anne's automatically better than her. Besides Jade had five trophies to Leigh-Anne's one to prove that she was better.
Maybe Leigh-Anne has won this one but Jade won't let it happen again. Jade knows exactly what to do to win back her unofficial title.

Hello guys.
So there's a little bit of rivalry happening between Jade and Leigh. Seems scandalous. And wow Leigh what is up with the taunting, you obviously want Jade to kick your butt. Jade wouldn't do that though, she loves Leigh too much.
But yeah, I haven't decided if I was going to continue this or not but my answer is most likely not. But who knows I might get inspired by something and write a part two. So see you guys next update.
