Waking up by the sound of a someone banging a pan is not one of those things I enjoy. So when someone wakes you up by doing just this you would expect someone to get a little angry. Sitting up from sleeping I rubbed my eyes so that I could see whoever it was I was going to attack. Once I had regained vision after entering the land of blurriness I was welcomed by the sight of my alarm which I had set to the "Pot and Spoon" sound the night before.

"I swear I have a death wish," I groaned out before falling back into the bed.
"I love you though," I stated sitting at the end of my bed.

I groaned and rolled out of bed sheets and all. Rising up out of the blankets I scratched my head and yawned. Like a Phoenix coming out of the ashes I stood up to go wake Flora.

Once I had taken a couple minutes to stretch, I woke Flora up by pushing her off the bed which resulted in her not talking to me until she had gotten dressed. Directing my attention to waking my other roommates, only I came to notice they were already gone.

Wow you leave and don't even wake us up. Love you too.Not.

Moving back to my bed I opened up my trunk and changed into my uniform. Shoving my tooth brush and some tooth paste into my bag and making sure I had all my books I grabbed Flora, who was doing the same, and made my way out of the Slytherin dorm and common room. By the time we had left it was 7:50.

I could've slept in 10 minutes.

Arriving at the Great Hall and finding Albus I marched over to him and took my seat.

"You, sir, could've woken me up five minutes later and I still wouldn't have been late."

"Well ,my bad, your majesty."

Still mad at him, I started putting some food on my plate when a plate banged in the spot across from me.

Why must I always be interrupted before I begin eating?

Looking up ready to scorch the person across from me, I was yet again greeted with a pair of blue eyes.

"Teddy? Why are you sitting here?"

"I'm spending quality time with my friend Albus here. We were practically raised together you know," he said slinging his arm around Albus' shoulders.

Albus chuckled and began eating his food. "Yeah Mira don't you know he's like a second brother to me."

I deadpanned. Shaking my head I resumed my state of eating.

"Mira you didn't save me a seat? What the heck," Flora groaned moving someones stuff to sit next to me.

I shrugged, "Sorry Flora I was more focused on the food."

Shoving food into my mouth just in case someone decided to interrupt me again, I took out my class schedule and looked over it.

8:00-8:40 Breakfast

8:45-8:55 Homeroom - Slughorn

9:00-9:55 Herbology - Longbottom

10:00-10:55  Transfiguration- McGonagall

11:00-11:55 Defense Against the Dark Arts- Malfoy

12:00-12:55 Lunch

1:00-1:55 Potions -Slughorn

2:00-3:00 Study Hall -Malfoy

3:01-6:00 Free Period

6:00-7:00 Dinner
8:00 Curfew

About two seconds after I was done glancing over it, the piece of paper was snatched from my hands.

"Hey! Give it back," I exclaimed already knowing who took it.

Albus furrowed his brow as he looked over Teddy's shoulder to see my schedule, " Mira, I didn't know your dad was teaching this year."

"Yeah, he's just filling in for a while."

"Hey we have Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, and Study Hall together," Teddy commented and handed me back my schedule.

I looked over to Flora signaling for her to shoot me, she in return raised both her eyebrows in a suggestive way.

"Hey I'm still here you know."

"No you aren't, I'm in the girls' bathroom brushing my teeth," I replied grabbing my bag and leaving expecting Flora to be right behind me. Yet when I turned around she was nodding her head and went back to eating. I continued my journey to the bathroom.

After brushing my teeth and making sure I looked good I headed off to Homeroom. Climbing six flights of stairs and finally arriving at Slughorn's room, it took me a few seconds to realize I hated my homeroom.

"Ah one of my favorite students! Welcome back Mira," Professor Slughorn stated coming up to me to give me a hug. I giggled and hugged him mumbling, "It's great to be back."

"I'm glad to hear. How's Flora? Still the chatty girl I know?"

"You know its Professor."

"Well, you take a seat darling, while I make sure everyone is here. We don't want a repeat of last year," he stated widening his eyes and walking back to his desk.

I found my seat which happened to be placed by my favorite person in the world, just kidding. Meet Victorie Weasley, queen bee and queen idiot. Yeah sure with blonde hair you would expect her to be dumb, but no this girl is beyond dumb. I mean ask her what two plus two is and she will answer twenty two. Of course she is also on the arm of guess who? Ding, ding, ding! Teddy Lupin. Sitting down, I was immediately bombarded by what sounded like the voice of a harpy.

"Oh hey Mira! You look so nice, did you do something to your hair?"

"No I just got another nose piercing."

Looking at me with disgust she quickly straightened her back and leaned towards me, "Well now that we're friends I've heard some rumors going around about you and my boyfriend."

"What?"

"Yeah, they probably aren't true. In case they are though, stay away from Teddy he's mine. Plus, if he wasn't he'd never fall for a freak like you," she stated and walked away to join her group of barbies.

I sat there puzzled and baffled but my thoughts were swiftly interrupted by the bell.

How can I survive a whole day if that was only one class?
