This is going to be Draco and Hermione's POV. Like I'll start off with Hermione and then do Draco. Enjoy!
I was tired of this. It had been 2 weeks since we talked to each other. Draco seemed to be fine with it. Everyday in Potions he'd smile and if he didn't understand something, he'd ask Crabbe. Crabbe was an idiot, and he taught Draco all wrong. He was trying to make me feel jealous, wasn't he? Well right, he succeeded. I spent the rest of my week with Ginny.
"Hermione, I've got a quidditch game tomorrow. Have you gotten any skills that can help?" asked Ginny.
"Sorry, Ginny. I'm more of a books person." I replied.
"Oh, that's alright, Hermione." she said a bit gloomily. I was tired. Ginny and I decided to play chess with each other. She was really good. Her brothers must have trained her well.
"Checkmate" I smiled.
"Hermione! Well I'm tired of playing chess. Can you teach me about some muggle products? I want to impress dad with my knowledge!" she pleaded
"Of course, Ginny." I replied.
She beamed. I started explaining some things to her, such as the computer and telephone.
"Fellytone?" she asked. This was exhausting. Draco knew about telephones and other muggle devices, his father told him about them and explained them as ridiculous. I kept talking to Ginny whilst thinking about Draco.
"No, no Ginny. TEL-EEE-FONE." I tried.
"Oh. Teleeephone. Muggles use it to communicate with each other?" she said in a curious tone.
"Yes. The computer is another device muggles use to communicate with each other. There are websites such as Facebook that do so. The computer is also a bit like a library." I continued. If this were Draco, we wouldn't be talking about such things. We'd be talking about how bad some rules at Hogwarts were, yet we followed them.
"Really Hermione? Computer...do you have a Bookface?" she questioned.
"Er...yes in fact. I don't use it often. Facebook, not Bookface by the way. I use it to keep in touch with my muggle friends from my muggle school." I said. I was tired of being and getting ignored by Draco. We were supposed to be friends. I felt bad. Ugh.
"Do you think I can make a Facebook, Hermione?" Ginny was a very, very curious girl.
"Sure, not at the moment. Maybe if I come over during the summer, I can bring my laptop, oh the laptop is like a computer but portable. We can make you an account." I smiled. But the smile...it wasn't real. It wasn't the smile I used on Draco for the past week. I needed to apologize. But I couldn't be the one to back down. It was not fair, him not talking to me. I wondered if he felt this way about me...probably not. But it was as if we were mortal enemies. A Slytherin and a Gryffindor were never friends. Why start?
"HER-MY-UH-NEE!!!" yelled Ginny.
"Sorry, Ginny. I was thinking about a book I read. What were you saying?" I tried to sound as nonchalant as possible.
"It's just Harry called you to his dorm. Oh he's wonderful, I wish he called me to his dorm. Can I come, Hermione? Please! I do like him..." she kept pleading.
"Of course." I said to her. She seemed to yelp with joy, and followed me there.
"Hey Harry...you wanted to see me?" I asked him
"Yeah, Hermione. It's about..." I took his hint. It was about Cho. Or some other girl.
"Oh, hi Ginny. Haven't seen you in a while." Harry looked at her.
"Yeah." Ginny managed to say. Her cheeks were as red as a rose, and you could count her teeth in the smile she was smiling.
"Hermione, come here." he gestured to me. I walked up to him and sat on the chair next to him. Ginny was talking to Ron about Quidditch. Ron seemed a bit stressed.
"I think Cho might like me...for real this time." he blushed.
"I've always thought she's liked you."
"What happened at Quidditch today took me aback." he smiled very widely.
He continued, "We were playing, and she's seeker on the Ravenclaw team. She let me take the snitch, although it was right in front of her. The best part? She was smiling at me the entire time." Harry was extremely happy. I guess I displayed my emotions in my face, because later he said,
"Hermione...what's wrong? You don't seem happy..." he asked.
"It's nothing, Malfoy...nothing." I said.
"What has that foul excuse of a wizard done to you? You both seemed to get along well the past two weeks...I didn't like it. But it is your decision Hermione." Harry said.
"Yeah nothing, just a misunderstanding. I am truly happy about what happened between you and Cho though!" I smiled the fakest of smiles.
"Thanks Hermione. She likes me. I've never been happier." grinned Harry.
"Yeah." I said. I was thinking about Draco. I was blind without him.
Draco's POV
"Hey Draco, so your dad's buying us those hot hot Firebolts, right?" asked Marcus Flint.
"I think so." I replied. That was all they cared about. My money. Money this, money that. Hermione understood...Hermione cared. But it was her fault for ignoring me. She should suffer the consequences', no?
"Dracooo, can you believe that Goyle asked me?" whined Pansy.
"Can you shut up, Parkinson?" I asked her. She was so annoying. I didn't understand how she was a witch. She was so annoying, like a muggle. Wait...Hermione's parents weren't annoying. I hadn't met them but I bet they aren't. They didn't seem to be.
"Draco, what ARE you thinking about?" Pansy kept moaning.
"Parkinson, I won't mind if your mouth zips up." I was angry. I was mad. Even Weasleys were better than her. I went up to her, took her novelty broom, and threw it away. She looked at me with an ever so pleading face.
"No. Leave." I said sternly.
"Fine, you idiot. Bye." she snickered.
I was tired. The Quidditch game was in just 8 hours.
"Flint. I'm going to rest now, I'm worn." I said to Flint.
"Alright. But make sure your dad gets those Firebolts in, we need them!" he yelled.
"Okay." I said back to him.
I walked down to my dorm, opened my door and saw Zabini with some girl on my bed.
"What are you doing here?" I asked Zabini.
"Uh, do you mind? We were trying to discuss something..." Zabini looked at me angrily.
I was tired of this. I was tired of being annoyed with stupid drama in this place. Hermione was my escape. Hermione understood. I had to say sorry to her. I would tomorrow after the Quidditch game. I was blind without her.
Zabini cleared his throat.
"No, I want my bed. I need to sleep, you can make love with that girl some other place." I cringed when I saw the girl wearing nothing but a bra and a skirt.
"Leave." I confirmed. They left. I used a spell to clean my bed and make it clean again. I fell asleep. I fell asleep knowing that without Hermione I was blind. I did need to see her.
