Author's Note: It'll probably be a lot of Hermione's perspective from now on...

It was time for the Quidditch game. Ron and Harry rushed downstairs. Ginny waited a moment until they were gone, and she turned towards me. "Hermione...I feel as I'd I'll never get Harry to like me. I'm brave, yes. But when it comes to Harry..." she drifted on and on about how Harry preferred Cho over her and how she'd possibly never be the best for him.

I sighed and said, "Ginny. You're the original you. No book or prophet is going to make you better than what you already are. One day Harry'll realize that."

Ginny seemed convinced. "Thank you, Hermione." She thrusted her arms around my neck and gave me a tight squeeze.

"Good luck on the game. You will win, I know it." She smiled and ran off to Ron.

I needed to find a seat. There was an open seat next to Luna, and that seemed to be the only seat in which no one was at. I rushed to sit there. I looked at Luna, and peered at my other side. It was Drac-I mean Malfoy.

"What are you doing, Malfoy?" I asked him.

He ignored me. Lee Jordan announced, "Due to failure to have brooms, the Slytherin team has forfeited the game. Gryffindor moves up, and today they will be playing against..." Lee waited for the crowd to quiet down. Suspense seemed to have filled the stadium. It was quiet. "RAVENCLAW!!!" yelled Lee.

I had to talk to him. I turned my body around completely when I saw his arm around a girl. I couldn't make out who it was, but if he had done that, I would have to try to move on as well. "Luna, do you have any snacks?" I asked her.

"I only have a little, the nargles must've stolen the rest." she whispered. She handed me Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans."

"Thank you Luna." I rapidly ate two beans and cheered for Harry and Ginny.

I looked at Draco's arm again. It wasn't on anyone's shoulder...it was on his old broom! I still continued to cheer for Ron, Harry, and Ginny. They were who I was focusing on now. I'd felt a water drop on my lap. I looked up, it wasn't raining. Draco rubbed his eyes. Then he ran off. I moaned.

"What's wrong, Hermione?"

"Luna, I'll be back. Save my seat, will you?" I asked her.

"Certainly." she replied.

I half-smiled at her. I ran after Draco. He was heading for his dormitory. I stopped him by grabbing his shoulder. Teardrops were rushing down his face. Yet he managed to say,

"MUDBLOOD. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?" he yelled in my direction.

"Draco." I said. I didn't appreciate his calling me a mudblood.

"Have you come to yell at me? Deter me from being alone? You'll fail, Granger. Leave." He sure was stubborn.

"Draco." I repeated.

"Granger. Leave, or I'll...." he trailed off.

"Draco." I repeated.

To his surprise, I ran up to him and wrapped my arms around him.

"GRANG-Hermione. Stop." he yelled at me.

My arms were still wrapped around his neck. He took his arms and wrapped them around my waist.

"Thank you, Hermione." he whispered to me.

"For what?" I asked.

"All." he replied.

I wasn't quite sure what he was talking about. But at that moment, I felt as happy as I did when I aced my tests. He took his arms away from me, so I took my arms away from him.

"I love-" he began to say.

"GRANGER? MALFOY?" asked a voice.

I shrieked.

"Shh." said Draco. He put his finger upon my lips.

I was shaking. I didn't want to get another detention. And when Harry and Ron found out who it was with, they would be...I could'nt afford to think like that.
