Almeta watched as Luke dragged his suit case into the Veranda, looking up at her.

"Do we have to go?" He asked, becoming glum.
She leaned down until she matched his height. "You might not see it, Luke. But you and your sister are in danger here. You'll be safe with your mother on Naboo until it's safe to return."
"And when will that be?" Leia asked, waking towards them.

"I don't know, but I know it won't be long."
Leia sighed. "Is Artoo going to go?"

She shook her head with a frown. "I'm afraid not. Artoo's going to have to stay here and help with a few missions in the Galaxy."

Anakin stepped inside. "Alright, we should get going."
Anakin and Almeta pulled their suit cases as they all boarded the ship that awaited for the family. She strapped them into their seats before storing their cases away.

Almeta sat across from Anakin as his eyes met hers.
He reached across the table that stood in front of them and kissed her hand before standing up. "Excuse me."

He walked towards the front of the ship before stepping inside of the small room.

-

As they arrived to Naboo, Luke and Leia stood behind Anakin as the ship landed. With the same low hiss, the ramp extended, each of them filing off of the ship.

"Stay close you two." Anakin warned. "This place is crowded."
Almeta pushed the two in front of her, and behind Anakin so they were in her view.

After multiple stairs and a few downward hills, they arrived in a small home.

"Mommy!" Leia shouted, running into the house.
Padmé stood; beautiful as always, and smiled as she bent down to lift Leia into her arms. "I've missed you, Leia!" She said, hugging her tightly.

Anakin pressed his hand to Almeta's back as he let Luke around him to get inside. He ran to Padmé, hugging her, too.

"How is Coruscant holding?" Padmé asked.
"It's hanging, as usual." Anakin said with a polite smile.

Almeta set their suit cases in the corner of the small room before standing next to Anakin again.
"Alright, we should get going before the ship leaves us." Anakin said, clearing his throat.

Leia was the first to run straight to Anakin, and she hugged him tight. "I love you, daddy."
Anakin smiled. "I love you, don't cause your mother any trouble."

She smiled before letting Luke at him.
"May the Force be with you." Luke whispered to him.
"May the force be with you, Luke."
Leia hugged Almeta next, causing her to smile.
"Goodbye." She smiled.
"I'll see you soon." She promised her, kissing the top of her head.

-

Almeta could sense nausea in the pit of her stomach as the two left Naboo. What if we won't see them again? What if Anakin doesn't get to see his children again? She thought.

"Al?"

Almeta snapped out of her thoughts at the sound of her nickname from Anakin. She looked up to see he was staring at her.

"Sorry, I was day dreaming." She lied.

He placed the glass of water he had in his hand onto the table. "You know that I know when you're lying."

She sighed. "I just can't help but get this feeling, Anakin. It's scaring me."

He bent down in a squat as he placed his hands on her knees. "It scares me too." He confessed.
"I'm sorry, I'm doing what Jedi shouldn't be doing."

He kissed her forehead. "Fear is being human."
"And is also a path to the dark side." She muttered, low enough so he didn't hear her.

"We'll be in Coruscant soon." He said, sitting down. "Master Yoda and Obi-Wan are waiting for us."

"Have they decided when the Galactic Republic is making a move?" She asked.
"I'm not sure. By the sounds of it, Obi-Wan, you and I are going on a mission to Hoth soon."

Fantastic.

"This should be fun then." Almeta muttered.
