Good end 1

Mikey wakes up to find Raph staring at him. "Ah!" He screams and knocks his head on the bed. "Ow..." Raph jumps and rushes to Mikey's side, apologising and looking at his head, asking if he's okay.

Mikey looks around, puzzled. "What's going on? Why am I here? And why do I have a tube thing attached to my arm?" Raph looks disappointed. In what, Mikey doesn't know. A small voice in him tells him that Raph is just disappointed in him, but he ignores it.

"Guys! He's awake!" Raph yells. Soon everybody rushes in, and starts crowding around him, asking him if he feels alright and stuff like that. Mikey stares at them, confused. Why are they acting so concerned for him? Was he dreaming? he hoped he never woke up from it if it was a dream.

"Mikey, do you remember anything? Anything at all?" Donnie asks. Was he supposed to remember something? Aw man, what was it? Maybe it was that pizza he was supposed to throw out... He shook his head.

Leo smiles. "It's okay. All that matters is that you're back." His brothers Attack him with hugs while April, Casey and Splinter watch with smiles. "Um... Do you guys mind telling me what happened so that I'm not so confused?"

Leo, Donnie and Raph exchange glances. "We'll tell you later," they say in unison. Meh. Works for me. Mikey smiled.

From that day onwards, Mikey noticed that his brothers were acting nice towards him. Too nice. And how did they get those wounds? April and Casey seemed okay, and so did Splinter. But all of them were acting weird. They stopped insulting him. They stopped teasing him and underestimating him. It was weird, but in. Good way. It was as if they were trying not to hurt him. But why? Mikey was pretty sure the only reason why they would be like this would be because they knew of how he was affected by their words and actions, but how would they know? They all thought he was that happy go lucky turtle who was clumsy all the time.

He would never know the answer. And he never asked. He was just happy with how things were. His brothers never told him about what happened later, as they had promised. And Mikey would never hear the story.
