*Noemi’s POV*
“...and all your little things” I finished singing. The judges, (Nadine, Marielle, and Kaleb) applauded with little interest. Then they began their critiques. Nadine said “You were okay, but I’ve heard better” My heart dropped when I heard that. Marielle said “I really like it. Nadine doesn’t know what she’s talking about!” I smiled in appreciation of her kind words towards me. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to make the cut. Kaleb said “maybe you can try again next year when you’ve had more practice.” I was about to start crying when a voice with an Irish accent said “Well I think you did absolutely amazing!” The judges, obviously just as shocked as I was, turned to see Niall make his way towards the front of the stage. I thought I recognized that lovely Irish accent but kinda doubted it because the boys weren’t coming to the United States until a couple of weeks! Anyways I asked him “What are you doing here?” he started to explain how his mates had gotten permission to use the room next door to rehearse for the gig he and his band had in a bar. I was still shocked because I was actually talking to my celebrity crush; he was the one I fancied the most of the five boys AND he said I did “incredibly amazing” [as if that didn’t add on to the nerves I was feeling]. He must have read my mind as he smiled a beautiful smile and said “well I was on my way to look for something to eat and as I passed by here, I stopped because I recognized the lyrics. The door was open so I came in while you were singing Louis’ part. I was really impressed by that angelic voice. But I waited for the perfect moment to say something, which happened to be when these rude people *pointing to the judges* were lying to you. Tell ya what, why don’t we have Simon decide?” I, being so shy, only managed to ask “how?” he just smirked and said “Don’t worry about it darling” and winked at me. I felt myself blushing. Niall said “Your voice is amazing and I would love for you to meet up with Simon. I know he’ll love you!” I was startled when Kaleb spoke up and said “After having a brief discussion we decided we would love to have you — ” “Don’t listen to that rubbish! Come with me! I loved your voice from the start!” I blushed as he said that. There was no way I was going to reject Niall James Horan, the cutest Irish gentleman ever, and also the love of my life (according to my friends)! I looked at the judges and said “Thanks but no thanks! I’ll pass. But I would like to thank you for the wonderful opportunity you have given me.” With that I ran off the stage and gave Niall a really big hug, and was returned with what, I thought, was known as the extremely famous Horan hug! While I was in his arms, I felt like the world was spinning but we were the only people standing still. And it felt so right!
*Niall’s POV*
I was on my way to look for something to eat when I heard a beautiful voice singing ‘Little Things’ I walked in, since the room was open, and took a seat in the last row so no one would see me. When I got comfortable, I pulled my phone out and started recording this young, and I might add very pretty, girl. I was mesmerized at the way she sang my solo. The song ended and I stopped recording and quickly put my phone in my pocket in case I might have gotten caught. The people she was standing in front of, which I assumed were judges, didn’t look so impressed. Instead they started giving her negative comments. I didn’t want to hear any more of this b.s. because she looked like she wanted to cry. So as I’m making my way up to the front of the stage I say “Well I think you did absolutely amazing” I could tell she was shocked. She asked me what I was doing here and I explained everything. After I was done explaining, I offered her to come with me to meet Uncle Simon. I noticed one of the judges started saying something, but I cut him off because I had a feeling they were lying and told this really attractive girl to come with me. She declined the judges and ran off the stage to give me a big, tight hug, and I responded by giving her one of my best Horan hugs.
