*Aracely's POV*
"Wow he definitely likes you" I gushed at Noemi. She blushed slightly and said "No way. That's impossible." I rolled my eyes and said "you obviously don't see it!" I saw the surprised look in her face and said "I can tell he really likes you"
*Noemi's POV*
"Gurl, you be cray cray!" I told her when we finished packing my stuff and headed over to her place so she can pack her stuff. "I'm serious Noemi! It's obvious that he likes you!" she said once we got to her house since the drive from my house to hers consisted of us singing obnoxiously to the 1D songs on her iPhone. "How do you know?" I asked her. "I notice the way he looks at you and his smile is way bigger when he talks to you. Not to mention the extra long hug he gave you when you left." I remembered the long hug Niall had given me a couple of hours earlier. I smiled at the thought. "Earth to Noemi?" Aracely called bringing me back to reality. "I, uh, sorry. I just got lost in thought." I apologized to my best friend. She smirked and said "thoughts of Niall, huh?" she said with a wink as we finished getting all her things into her bags. "I guess I can't hide my feelings very well!" She laughed at me. By the time we finished packing Aracely's things, it was 8:30 so we had half an hour to spare before Niall came over.
*Aracely's POV*
I saw the connection between Niall and Noemi since I met him and I then decided I would play matchmaker and get the two together. I don't know how I would do it. But I was determined to make them be together. What I didn't understand was why Noemi didn't see that Niall obviously likes her! Anyways I told her "So tell me how did you and Niall meet?"
*Noemi's POV*
Aracely's question kind of caught me off guard. "We'll you know how I signed up for the singing thing before school ended?" I asked her "Yeah?" I could tell she doesn't know what that has to with Niall. "So I did that yesterday evening. Anyways I sang 'Little Things' and the judges didn't like it. But honestly I didn't realize Niall was there until he said "We'll I think you did absolutely amazing" and I went on to explain that evening’s events. And I mentioned how he politely asked if he could kiss me on the cheek and if he had permission to take me out on a date. “Oh my gosh that’s so cute! You guys would make such a cute couple.” Aracely squealed. I wish we would be a couple. I heard Aracely mumble something but I decided to let it go. “I wonder what Liam would think of me” I heard Aracely worriedly say. “Oh the two of you would get along just fine. I mean who wouldn’t like you? You’re a great friend.” I saw her cheeks flushed a light pink. “Thanks” she said as she gave me a hug. Then we kept talking about how much I like Niall. When I got my phone out to check what time it was, my phone vibrated. It was Niall saying he was outside. I laughed and called him asking him if he could help us. He knocked on the door. He is so adorable! I guess I must have said that out loud because I heard Niall and Aracely laughing and Niall said “I know I am." I blushed a deep red and went to get my bags only to notice they were all gone. I turned to Aracely for an explanation and she said “This lovely young man decided to put all your bags in the car. Now we should get going.” I turned to Niall whose cheeks, I noticed, were slightly pink. “You didn’t have to do that” as I went over to give him a hug, which resulted in him blushing a little more.
*Niall’s POV*
“Okay you love birds. I don’t wanna miss the plane!” Aracely sarcastically scolded. At this point both Noemi and I were blushing because of what Aracely had said. As we headed towards the car, Noemi yelled out an unnecessary “Shotgun” Aracely just laughed and said “fine by me” and winked before getting on the backseat. We got on and as I started driving, we listened to the radio and obnoxiously sang louder than the songs. ‘Kiss You’ came on and we, of course, sang it. Before it got to my part, Noemi pleaded for me to sing my part as she lowered the volume. I agreed and sang it. “Wow you are good!” Aracely said. My cheeks flushed a light pink. I blushed even more when Noemi said “It’s true. You really are good.” “Thanks” was all I was able to say. 'Man, I really like Noemi but I wonder if she likes me back." I definitely need to talk to Aracely about this. When we got to LAX Noemi said she needed to use the restroom. ‘Now’s my chance to ask Aracely.’ I thought. “Aracely can I tell you something and you promise not to tell anyone?” I nervously asked her. She smiled at me and said “Of course hun. You can tell me anything.” I kind of relaxed when she said that. “Umm it’s ‘cause... I kind of...” I hesitated to say. “Are you trying to tell me you like Noemi?” Phew, I sighed. I didn’t have to tell her. Wait she already knew!? “So I’ll take that as a yes?” she asked. I was still shocked that she knew so I just nodded my head yes.
