Recap:

When I didn't show up at the sunset, I would find present for my sister at the park. I knew he was the one that deliver it because of his scent. I would smell him in the waters too; I guess he was trying to find me in there too. But he never smelt me as a mermaid; usually I contain my regular smell. But it's mostly cover as fish smell, so it would be impossible for him to find me in the water.

But I can never be too sure. Hopefully, he does not find me before the winter holiday can occur. Until then, my sister cannot find out.

Fred:

The holiday couldn't take long enough to come. I was standing couple feet away from Harry in front of Hogwarts with other students. Everyone was packed and ready to go home, they were just waiting for the boats to come.

Harry talked with Hermione quietly as I stared out into the lake. I felt a present come next to me and I already knew who it was.

"Hi, Isis." Oliver said, looking down at me, but I kept my head straight forward. He decided to continue, "Where have you been? I missed you so much."

"Yeah, I have been quite busy." I replied softly.

He took a minute before he could reply, "Isis, what's wrong?"

I thought about it for a second before a disgusted smirk made its way on to my face, "Ever felt like people aspects more than you can give?"

Replying with no doubt, "Yes, every time I play quidditch. One little mistake and you'll get pin for it later on."

I let out a soft chuckle, but didn't reply. He continues once again, "Sometimes you just want to call it quits, but then you know you can't because you'll have to live with that decision later on in life."

"Also, you will be letting down tons of people with your athletic skills and good looks." I joked and he chuckle.

A moment later, he softly bumped my shoulder and I looked up at him. He smiled warmly while placing his hand on my left cheek. "I don't know what your problem is, but Isis I know you can get through it and I'll be there with you every step of the way."

I nodded and smile at him, I was about to turn away but he place his other hand on my right cheek for I couldn't turn away. He continue to talk, "I will be there every step you take, but as your friend."

I looked at him shocked, but at the same time I knew it was coming. What was I thinking? Dating a great guy like Oliver and thinking I was going to keep him until I get bored of him or finally realize I still have him?

I smiled at him and placed my hands over his, "Thank you and sorry I couldn't be a better girlfriend just have-"

"You don't have to explain to me, I understand we go through difficult moment." He said interrupting me. "Just take care of yourself, Isis."

Dropping his hands from my face, he picked up his bags from the ground. He looked me in the eye and smiled, which I gladly return. He kissed me in the cheek and whispered in my ear, "Don't forget about me."

With that he turned around and walked away. Staring at him as he walked away to his friends and I felt a little happy. Now I have one less thing to be guilty of. Turning my attention back to the lake, I couldn't help, but smiled.

"Sorry, I couldn't help but over hear about you and Oliver break up." Fred said standing next to me. "How are you holding up?"

I looked at him like he had three heads, but he didn't acknowledge my look towards him since he was staring up ahead. "Fred."
