My sore body stumbles off from Kilala. I tried to stand up, yet my body slumped down to the ground yet again.

Miroku quickly took notice of me and set Kagome down (who apparently has fallen into a siesta state from the partial lose of her soul) before he came running to my side, "Umi! You shouldn't move in your condition."

I tighten my fist, along piling dirt within my grasp.

"But Miroku, I gotta help Inuyasha," my heart ached as I watched the pool of blood under Inuyasha, "I don't want him to die. Everyone will be devastated, especially Kagome."

Miroku stood silent as he gazed upon my determination to help Inuyasha, despite the state my body was in. He sighed as he bent his knees while his back was exposed toward me, "Hop on. Let's hurry before Inuyasha loses more blood."

"Thank you, Miroku," I complied so Miroku can carry me on his back. Astounded that Miroku didn't try anything of his twisted perverted tactics while carrying me on his back.

"Wait! I am coming too!" Shippo ran to catch up to us.

It didn't take Miroku long to arrive where Inuyasha collapsed. He sat me down next to Inuyasha. Ignoring the pain within my body. My eyes frowned as I became aware of his massive incision that lead from his upper left torso to his lower right abdomen. I totally forgot to bring bandages from my backpack with me, so I ripped my sleeves off to stop the bleeding. As Inuyasha's blood began to slowly soak up from the fabric, I began to realize the extent of his injury. I was surprised to see his wound isn't deep enough to kill him. My mind comprehend that the reason he was losing blood was due to shock. When a body is in a state of shock, it loses blood immediately (author: whether this is a fact or not, just go with it). As I continue to stop the bleeding, I began to wonder if it was his demon blood to help him survive the wind scar. After all, the wind scar is known to slaughter 100 demons in one swipe. My thought of trying to understand how Inuyasha managed to survive the wind scar, were brought to an end as I hear Inuyasha's voice, "U-Umi?"

Despite hearing my name in his horsed voice. I couldn't help but smile to hear his voice. Despite the agony in his eyes, I am relieved the life that regain within them. Inuyasha tried to move.

He grunts as a surge of pain overwhelms him after he slightly moved his body. I didn't realize that Inuyasha's hand took hold of my own. He must of grabbed it before the pain began. It took me by surprised that I slightly blushed for a few seconds.

I quickly regain myself. I slightly squeezed his hand, "Inuyasha, please don't move. You're badly hurt."

His pain eased away, yet he looked at me with an expression I cannot describe. I tried to decipher it, but sadly I couldn't read him.

"Wha! What is that?!" Shippo pointed at the dark ominous clouds began to form together.

Besides Inuyasha, we all look up at the clouds as they formed a small tornado that landed not too far from us. A man with dark curly hair with ominous looking eyes stared at our direction with an evil smirk plastered on his face.

"It's him," Miroku looked furious, "Naraku."

I was taken back as Miroku recognizes the man that everyone in are group despises. I cannot believe 'the Naraku' is standing before us, *Out of all the time in the world, why does Naraku show up now?*

"Agh!" I quickly embrace myself from the sudden surge of icy sensation overflowing throughout my body.

Shippo quickly notice of my actions, with concern in his voice, "Umi, are you alright?!"

Squinting one eye, "I am fine, Shippo. Just my body still sore that all."

Shippo gave me disquiet expression, "Don't push yourself to hard, Umi."
