I quickly shut my eyes as I protect Inuyasha's body with my very own. However, Kagura's wind blades never reached me. In fact, they were expelled by Kagome's sacred arrow.

"You again?!" Kagura exclaims as Kagome comes down from Kilala's back. She shouts at Kanna, "You failed me Kanna! Why didn't you steal her soul?!"

Naraku was amazed to see Kagome's soul seeping out of Kanna's mirror.

Relief to see my cousin, especially that she saved me and Inuyasha in the nick of time. Both Shippo and I screamed out her name, "Kagome!"

"I'm glad I arrived just in the nick of time...," She smiles weakly right before she notices my hands covered in blood. Her smile rapidly turned upside down, "How's Inuyasha?"

"He's alive, but his is so badly wounded that he is unable to move." Shippo informs her as he moves out of her way as she crawls near Inuyasha's body.

"I'm so glad you're not dead, Inuyasha. I am so happy." Kagome's smile returns to her face.

From the short silence from Kagome, I can tell she was thinking the same thing I thought about earlier. Kikyo, the woman that Inuyasha is in love with, tried to kill him.

I was about to ask how she was feeling. After all, most of her soul was taken away from Kanna. Naraku's voice reached our ears.

"Woman, pass this massage to Inuyasha. If he must hate someone, hate Kikyo. For the only thing she desires is Inuyasha's death."

"Will you shut up!" Naraku glares at me, "I'm tired of hearing your voice. You make me sick!"

I was getting frustrated over hearing about Naraku's nonstop jabbering.

He simply smirks maliciously, "Is that so? Hehehehe I am afraid hearing your voice is quite lovely."

He says this hoping it will get under my skin. Which it does, if I might add. I clench my teeth as I feel more agitated than before. I growled, "Why you!"

I mind focused on my cousin condition, who seems to be in deep thought of who knows what, *We need to find a way to get Kagome's soul back.*

I stare upon the mirror within Kanna's grasp. I stared at it for a few seconds before I got an idea.

"....Oi Kagome..." Kagome shakes herself back to her senses and looks up at me.

"What is it?" She looks pale from her partial soul being consumed.

I spoke to her loud enough for just the two of us to hear, "I got an idea how to set your soul free from that demon's mirror."

Kagome was in disbelief, "H-How?"

I whispered in her ear, she looks at me funny as I finished explaining my idea, "Umi, how do you know that would work?"

"I am not sure, but...," I stare back at Kanna's mirror, "I am positive it might work."

Shippo, who was standing inbetween us, overheard of our little plan. Just above a whisper, "Eh! Are you serious,Umi?! You think that would work?"

I nodded my head with a stern expression, "It's a long shot, but that's all I can think of right now."

Kagome holds her chin, "Well, when you put it that way. It does make sense...Alright then. Let's do it, Umi!"

She smiles at me while I smirk happily as we commence our little plan. Kagome aligns her arrow dead on Kanna's mirror.

*I hope it works,* Shippo prays silently.

"That won't work, it's futile. You know it'll just reflect right back like the last time." Kanna spoke in monotone voice of hers.
