Chapter 8

Ethan
I couldn't sleep last night after what Marie told me, to think that someone would do those things to here pissed me off , the morning light is starting to shine through the window casting a glow on my beautiful mate. I don't care what happened in her past, she's beautiful, kissing her temple she's finally starts to wake up.

"Good morning angel, how'd you sleep?" With a smile on her face she rolls over to look at me, " I slept good I was really warm it was nice, but I'm really hungry can we go get some food?"  Come to think of it I was pretty hungry too, " alright love lets go down to the kitchen and get something, while we're down there I can finally tell everyone I found my mate!"

Marie
I slept really good last night I felt safe, now me and Ethan are going down stairs to get food, I'm kinda nervous he told me that everyone in the pack eat together like a big family and that I'll be part of it once he marks me, he didn't fully explain what that consists of, but right now I don't care all I can think about is food. But what if they don't want me in this family will I be thrown out ?
Sitting in the middle of the dining room is a huge wooden table and sitting at the head of it is the alpha, Ethan grabs my hand and we begin to make out way over to two seats next to the alpha, I see a tall, curvaceous, redheaded woman, talking to her friend and don't think anything of it until she stands up and yells at Ethan and me " Hey! Ethan guess you couldn't handle a woman so you decided to get a little girl, don't worry sweetie he'll leave you soon enough and come back to me." I just stop dead in my tracks and look at Ethan trying to not cry, I felt like my heart was about to break would he do that to me? Just throw me away, I looked nothing like her, I was petite I thought I had a body someone would want, sure I don't have a Kim Kardashian butt but I did have something to grab on to it wasn't flat cute and plump or that's what I thought, and my chest it was a C so that had to count for something right?

" Don't listen to her angel I'll never leave you now let's go sit down and eat ok?" I just nod my head at him as I sit down putting eggs,bacon, and toast on my plate. Oh my god this taste so good, not paying attention I realize the Alpha is talking to me, " so Marie how do you like the pack house?" Trying to chew as fast as I can so I can answer him, " From what I've seen it's very lovely, and big I've never been in such a big place." I hope I don't say anything stupid, I've been know to do so when I'm nervous.
" well I hope you like it here, we're happy to have you here, hopefully you will meet my wife in a few days, she's gone to see her family," nodding I went back to my food. But I couldn't stop thinking about what that girl said was she telling the truth.
