Suddenly three figures appeared on a street in London. They looked casual, so nobody even noticed them walking down the dark, deserted road. Two smaller shapes looked like they tried to pull out of the grip without any success. They entered an abandoned pub.
"Where are you taking us?" Cecilia groaned.
"You're going to find out soon enough," Remus answered.
"OK, this dude is really starting to creep me out CeCe," Ethan whispered into the girl's ear.
"Same," Cecilia nodded.
The man dragged the kids to a table in a shady corner. The pub was full of strange-looking people. The trio sat next to an old man with long white beard and colorful clothes.
"Remus," the man offered him a hand.
"Albus," Remus nodded, shook his hand and smiled.
"I see you have some problems," the man said as he threw a look at Cecilia and Ethan.
"Okay, I'm done with this shit. Can someone explain to me who are you, where am I and what the fuck is going on?" Cecilia lost her chill.
The old man's eyes sparkled behind his glasses as he smiled: "Ah, no need for such strong language, miss Patterson."
"I'll call the police," Ethan said and pulled out his phone. He was about to call 911, but Remus flicked his wand and the phone burned into colorful flames. Ethan screamed and dropped the device.
"I'm not staying here for another second!" Ethan screamed and held Cecilia by her hand.
"And you owe me a new phone," he added, pointing his finger at Remus.
"I'm staying,'' Cecilia said calmly.
Silence filled their table for a moment . Ethan looked at her just as she'd be as crazy as Remus. Everybody looked at the girl.
"What?" Ethan asked quietly.
"This man showed up from nowhere, knew my name, healed your arm and made us pop up in... Where are we anyways?" she turned to the men she just met.
"London," the older one replied.
"What?" Ethan and Cecilia questioned at the same time.
"Uhmm... you'll find out later," Albus smiled sheepishly.
"Whatever. Back to the point," Cecilia said to Ethan: "He even set your phone on fire. I'm not saying we can trust them, not at all. But we should give them a chance to explain or at least, we should give ourselves a chance to understand, shouldn't we?"
"Right, but if they turn out to be massive serial killers, I called it," her friend told her. Cecilia laughed.
"Well, now that that's out-of-the-way, please, let's talk," Remus said.
"You have one chance. We're leaving if you'll be all weird and stuff, " Cecilia looked into Remus' eyes.
"Okay, seems fair enough," Remus looked at her with pain in his eyes.
