"My Alpha Mate"

Chapter 11

Eric's face was full of hate as he glared at my mother's face. No one spoke for a few minutes just sat and waited for Eric to say her punishment.

"Why Jennifer? I will never look at you the same. I am so disappointed in you and in myself for letting this happen. Alyson I am so sorry for letting her treat you so badly. I love you so much and I hope one day you will forgive me even though I don't deserve it." Dad's face had tears streaking down his cheeks. I kept staring at him trying to figure out if he was telling the truth or lying to save himself from getting into trouble.I found my answer in his sad watery eyes. He was truly sorry for what he had let happen over the years.I raised up from the chair that sat behind Eric's desk and walked over to my father.

"It's ok, I forgive you." My voice cracked as I spoke making me realize that I was also crying. My dad actually cared for me. After years of thinking he chose mom over me it felt good to know he loved me. I let go of dad and turned to Eric.

"Please let him go. He had nothing to do with this." My eyes were pleading hoping Eric wouldn't punish dad because of what mom did. Eric bent down and gently kissed my forehead while wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I know he didn't do this to you. It isn't his fault that he got the devil as a mate." Eric gave a death glare over to my mother."Robert you may go but if you ever hurt Alyson I will kill you." Dad bowed down to Eric and left the room without turning to look at mom. 

"Jennifer will be sent to two months in the basement without any contact to anyone. After that you will be banished from the pack and from the state. I never want to hear your name or see you again." Moms eye's started to tear up and she started sobbing.

"Please anything but this." Eric just shook his head."Alyson deserved what happened.She should have told me but no she has to make everything difficult. I wish I would have just killed you.I regret ever having you. You were never pretty or smart or anything. But still I gave you everything but was that enough for you no of course not.You are such and ungrateful little bast-."Without even feeling Eric move he was standing in front of me. He leaned his hand back and slapped mom across the face.She started rubbing the red hand mark that was no on the side of her cheek.

"Don't you ever talk to my mate like that." Eric started to shake and I was afraid he was going to shift." Jared and Seth come in here please." The door opened and there stood Jared the beta and Eric's brother. Following behind him was Seth he was one of Eric's close friends and part of the pack. "Could you carry Jennifer to the basement and make sure to chain her up?" I watched as they went and picked her up carrying her to the door while she was kicking and spitting in their faces. When they were finally gone Eric turned back to me and held me in a tight hug.

"Alyson I'm so sorry that she did this to you. Why didn't you kill her Eric?" I had forgot that Eric's parents were still in the room. Eric turned to his father.

"Alyson did not want me to kill her. I agreed with her because I thought it would be a much worse punishment for her to live pretty much alone for the rest of her life." I would have to thank Eric later for listening to my idea.

After we all was finished talking his parents left the room leaving just me and Eric. He just stared at me like he couldn't figure something out.

"Eric why do you keep staring at me?" My voice probably sounded annoyed because I was getting a little self conscious.

"I can't figure out why you forgave your father so easily. If that was mine I could never forgive him for letting my own mother treat me so miserably my whole life." His voice sounded confused and when he talked his head turned side to side.

"As much as I would like to blame my dad for what happened it wasn't all his fault. I should have stood up for myself long ago. But when I looked into my dad's eyes I saw such sadness and sorrow and I knew he was just as miserable as I was. It felt nice when he finally stood up for me and I was not going to lose him over her." Eric watched me as I spoke and when I finally finished he started smiling from ear to ear.

"You already sound like a great Luna. You will be such a great leader I can hear it in your voice. The way you think and understand people just amazes me." He walked over to me picking me up and sat me in his lap. I kissed him lightly on the lips and when I started to pull away he wrapped his hands around my neck pulling me back. We kissed with such passion that I could barely stand it. His mouth went down to my mark and I moaned with such delight that it brought. We made out for a long time and when we finally pulled apart we were both panting trying to get air.

"So what would you like to do for the rest of the evening?" Eric turned his head to the side waiting for me to answer. I sat and thought and though till I realized something that I hadn't done in a long time.

"Lets go for a run. I haven't shifted since I have been here and I think it would be fun." Eric laughed as he pulled me to my feet leading me downstairs and outside.

"Out of all the things we could have done you choose to go for a run." I laughed at the confusion that was in his voice. He figured I would have just chose to head on up to our bedroom for some fun. Ha ha this mind reading thing was just to fun. We finally reached the edge of the forest and I went behind a tree shedding of my clothes. I saw Eric peaking trying to see as much as he could.

"Eric could you please quit thinking naughty thoughts. If you do remember I know everything that you are thinking. And no we can not head on back upstairs I want to run." He laughed because he knew he had got caught in his plan of trying to trick me back upstairs. I started to shift and it felt amazing to be back in my wolf. I watched as Eric shifted into a beautiful dark brown wolf. Man he was even hot in wolf form. How can that be fair?

"Now who is having the naughty thought's?" Eric chuckled as he spoke in my mind.

We ran and played in the forest all night. We would run and try to beat each other, and of course I won, mostly cause Eric let me. We played and hunted and it was just nice to not worry about anything except running into trees. For a long time we just laid and looked up at the stars. I enjoyed being with him so much that I didn't want to shift back to human. But of course all good things come to a end eventually. I shifted back and started to pull on my clothes when.....
