" how does it look on me?" I asked.

"li!" I wave my hands trying I get his attention.

"like any other girl. Pretty." he said without even glancing off of his iPads' screen.

"you irritating piece of shit. Look."

"hmmp?" he said, looking up.

"nice! Great! Just a little too... expressive. It's a ball. Striking pink to a ball? I don't think so."

"thats more like it." I smile at his reply.

Soon, shopping for the dress idea was given up and decided to be tailored. I shopped for nmore unnecessary things little brats like me are pampered with.

"is that... Ms Hepburn?" a voice called as I tried on a blouse.

My eyes flickered to the direction of the voice. Jesse.

"jess!!!!"I screamed and ran into his arms, desperate for his warmth.

He chuckled and kiss my forehead.

Jesse is my best friend eversince I was two. He knew just right every dang thing about me. He also falled for me once but then he went to study overseas.( i was not updated on his love)

"hey li. Is she being naughty?" he shook hands with Liam.

"yes, very much. So.. I'll leave you two?" he said as he picked his things up.

"wait. This was planned?" I asked, shocked.

"yeahh. Sorry bout that." Jesse kissed my cheeks again, then blush when I kissed him back.

"Jesse! Stop doing that man. All your manliness just vanish." li said, leaving me with a hug and a kiss goodbye.

Jesse chuckled and handed me a small box.

"what's this?" I curioused.

" a little present for the ball." he winked.

"awh. You shouldnt have!" the box revealed a dangling black and gold earrings.

"thank you."

"you're welcome." he smiled into his sentence.

{*}

"Francis. My legs. Theyre sore. Can we please, please please, take a cab."

Francis, my school close friend decided to walk to school today, and guess who got lost.

"okay." he surrender.

"please let's never do that again."

"ever." he raise his pinkie.

I chuckled at the move but pinkie sweared anyway.

"we are brats." he claimed

"you can say that twice, it was just a left turn after the junction, look!" I pointed at the junction we were just standing nearby from just a minute ago from inside the cab.

"damn. So close." he sigh.

"renee! Rae! Hug?"he put his hands out, but the couple rejected the offer.

"explain the clamminess." rae gestured his finger at the both of us.

"genius decided to walk."and then came the laughters from the love birds.

"isn't that out the gate, down the hill, eight blocks to the left and two more north?" renne mouthed.

"yeahh. That was hell." I winced at the soreness o my feet.
