I hugged reene and tugged on her dress. It fitted her perfectly.
SHe stared Ito my eyes, silent. A moment after, I could practically see the lump that was in her throat.
"no. No don't cry. Itll all be just fine." I smiled.
"he hasn't called me! What's happening to us. We've been arguing so much. He even slept late last night and when I woke up, he was sleeping on the couch. Rae! I just... I love him. I don't want to lose him. He means to much to me. If only I knew what he's up to lately. Texting people when I'm around him. He won't entertain me anymore." he sobbed.
Oh shit that was me texting him what the plan was.
"it okay. Trust me. It is." I lean in for a hug.
"I don't wan to lose the spark we once had." WOW. It like repeating the conversation I had with Rae. Only more tears.
"oh. My phone is ringing." I stood up and answered.
"Eric! Oh. Yeah. Sure.. Just a second okay, reene. He sounds important." I excused myself.
"what Rae." I said as soon as I was out the doors.
"I don't know If I want to do this." Rae whispered.
"Rae? Can you see her from where you are?" I asked.
"yes" he sobbed.
"do you see her crying?" I asked.
"don't you feel that?" I asked.
"I don't know okay!" he shouted.
"what DO you want to do? Look at her, and tell me." I asked Rae.
"I want to get out there and hold her and tell her I love her and I want her to be mine and... Oh... Fuuuck!" he was desperate, I could tell.
"what-what-what if she says no? Huh? What if that happens?" he asked.
"if you think she will say no which means that you don't think she loves you. Rae. Heres what will happen. I will not put my phone down. And I want you to hear what she has to say. Put down whenever you feel ready and I'll prepare myself for the big reveal. If you don't want to, simply leave and since her back is facing the window, go to the entarence where I can see you, so I know you son of a bitch chickened out. Okay?" I said.
"okay."
"you hurt her you die. Just remember that tho."I said as I held the phone to my side.
"sorry. Now, reene. Tell me. Do you love Rae?" I asked, my phone faced down.
"yes. All my heart." she was puzzled.
"why?" I asked.
"everything. The way he made me feel pretty, the way he smiles the way his eyes look so blue when he smiles when he touches my hand an I get the chills, the way he's such A DICK sometimes. I just love him. I hope he loves me back though." my phone wasn't off.
The call was still on. BUT WHY IN THE WORLD IS RAE PACING BACK AND FORTH INFRONT OF THE RESTAURANT?!?!?
"all okay?" puzzled reene asked worried alex.
"yeahh. Pshh. Fiine!" as soon as I ended the call, I saw raes eyes.
He made he's way in and through the restaurant. He's dark hair was messed up from all those tugging and ruffling. I stood up and my seat was taken by Rae.
