I read its summary at the back part and I really like it. Just as what I've expect. Nilingon ko ang alalay ko at busy pa siya sa pakikipag usap sa saleslady na halata namang pa cute ang ginagawa. Packing the sheet ob paper!!!
"Hey babe!" I called for his attention but he didn't respond. I called for him again and thanks because he turn his head to me.
Agad akong humalukipkip at sabay tinaasan siya ng isang kilay. I heard him said, "Excuse me!" saka siya naglakad palapit sa'kin bitbit yung basket. He smiled evily to me.
"What do you think you are doing?"
"Just talking."
"Pardon? Baka nakakalimutan mong alalay kita for 15 days at dapat sa likod ko, lagi kang nakasunod."
"I'm your boyfriend and not your tail."
"Alam ko. But you know it's a punishment for you. Isa pa di kita pinilit. Remember our deal?"
"But you ----
"You had your choice. Isa pa, don't you ever tell me that your my boyfriend because I knew it already. Aren't you happy na ako yung pinagsisilbihan mo? Yung mismong girlfriend mo? Ouch! It hurts naman, ye know. Buti pa sa ibang tao," litaniya ko sa kanya at mas pinili na yung last sentence ko e bigkasin ng mahina ngunit sakto lang na marinig rin niya. Aba! Lakas ng apog niya kung di pa siya makokonsensya.
"Ok na. Di na ako magrereklamo. Saka pwede ba wag kang ganyan magsalita? Napaghahalataan ka e."
I frown at him.
"What do you mean?"
"Your just jealous," he teased me.
"I am not," I answered and pass that book inside the basket. I continue looking for some books and magazines when I heard him said something.
"What kind of book is this? It's so cheesy," he commentad that made me turn my gaze to him. I think, he just finished reading its summary.
"How can you say that? Can you please don't judge it as easy as that just because you read its summary?"
"And it is so cheap."
"Pardon again?? That book will not be published and will not cost double or triple prize if it is cheap"
"Kaya ko nga nilalait dahil mamumulubi ako. Ang mahal kaya nito," dinig kong reklamo niya.
Ah, kaya pala ha.
"Babe, you should stay at my back alone. Baka kasi mahablot ka o magpahablot ka sa iba," I told him.
"Sure, babe"
Namili ako ng mga school supplies na kakailanganin ko pa sa school and yes, we're both still are going to school and we are in 4th year college now. He's taking business and I'm taking tourism.
Nang magsawa ako sa kakaikot, siya yung inutusan kong magbayad na doon sa cashier.
"Where are you going?" he asked me.
"I'm already hungry so mauuna na ako sa favorite kong food chain," I told him.
"Ok!"
Inangat ko ang kanang palad ko sa kanya at tiningnan lang niya ako with a blank face.
"Naubusan ako ng pera," diretsong sabi ko.
Tiningnan niya ako ng masama saka umiling dahil binigyan ko naman siya ng nakakalokong ngiti.
In the end, inabutan niya ako ng 500 peso bill. Umiling ako at sinabing kulang kaya dinagdagan niya ng isang 200 peso bill.
"Alam mo naman kung saan yung pupuntahan ko e kaya see 'ya," sabi ko sabay talikod. Gutom na talaga ako e.
