Later that day, Armin was sitting in the library. Incredibly, against all odds, the stars aligned and the centre of all beauty in the world walked into the library.
"Eren!" Armin called.
"Armin! Are you alright? I saw you getting beat up! I tried to step in and-" Armin cut him off.
"Look, I'm ok." Armin said sadly.
Eren put his arm around Armin. "I'm here for you." Eren says calmly.
"GAY FAGS!" Someone walking by jeers.
"Eff off!" Eren chants back.
Armin had to stop himself from saying he was gay.
"Th-thanks for standing up for me." Armin says with a smile.
"Yeah, I'd do anything for you!" Eren laughs, scruffling Armin's hair. Do normal guy friends play with each others hair? The boys at the school have to scream NO HOMO even if they scrape hands. Ask him to the dance now! NOW! Armin thought.
"Hey Eren? Do you, uh, want to-"
"Huh?"
"Do you want to study tomorrow night?"
Armin sputters.
"Study? Uh okay..." Eren replies.
Damn! That was my chance to win him! Armin cursed.
Eren walked to his next class as he thought of Armin. He had been friends with him for many years, but had floated away from each other since high school started last year. Eren mostly hung out with Mikasa and Marco, until Marco branched off and started dating Jean. Ever since Marco and Jean started going out, Armin started to talk about how cute they were together, always looking straight into Eren's eyes.
