Chapter Ten: Almost

Eren sat in the cafeteria and looked around worryingly. Where was she? Mikasa walked over to him.

"Ah, Mikasa?"

"Yeah?"

"Some people were making rumours about us..."

"I know who it was."

"Who?"

"I kinda maybe spread that rumour so people would think we were together."

"I cant believe you'd do that!" He got up and left the cafeteria.

Armin sat in the library, reading a book. When he looked out the window, he saw Eren. He slammed his book down and ran outside.

"Eren!" Armin called happily.

Eren had an angry look on his face.

The smile disappeared. "What's wrong, Eren?"

"Mikasa made up a rumour that we... I don't really want to talk about it."

Oh phew, it was just a rumour. Armin thought.

"Don't worry, I'm here for you." Armin said putting his arm around Eren. 

Eren smiled. "You're so nice to me."

"Thanks." Armin said.

"Oh, just a question Armin," 

Eren asked.

"Yeah?" His heart thumped like a drum. This could be it!!

"What do I have to bring tonight?"

His heart sunk. "Oh, just your books." Armin sighed.

But he couldn't be sad. He loved talking to Eren.

"All right, I'll see you then!" Eren chirped.

"See 'ya!" Armin replied.

Eren walked away. Armin watched him leave with a smile on his face.

Eren walked away with a frown on his face. Armin looked so happy but Mikasa's actions pissed him off. Mikasa just made a rumour about him, and he'd never live it down. Mikasa wanted to date him, but he couldn't. It would be like dating his sister.

 "What's up Eren?" Someone behind him called. It's Jean.

"What do you want?" Eren groaned.

"Chill dude! I'm finally agreeing with you and you're all sissy on me?" Jean asks.

"What's so important?" Eren said.

"Congrats on banging Mikasa, bro. I'd love to be you."

"I didn't-"

"You know it's nothing to be embarrassed about, I'd totally do her."

"You're gross, Jean."

"See you back at the dorm." Eren wouldn't be at their dorm that night.
