"As always, thank you for accompanying us on this magical show and may it be in the cards for us to meet again!" Gumi gave a humble bow and disappeared from the stage without a single trance left, her final trick followed by loud applauds from the crowd.
I was so tiered, I could hardly keep my eyes open. I quickly gathered my things and walked back to my tent. Just before I reached it I felt a faint tap on my shoulder I turned around and saw a small girl in a red dress and her short black hair tied in two small ponytails.
"Oh, Hello there little miss!" I crouched down to her size.

"Hello! You were so amazing out there!! How did you make all those sparkles and lights?" She looked at me, with a happy expression, a big smile on her face. I curled my lips into a small grin and answered her question. "Hehe, easy, it's magic!" I waved my hand and made a small bouquet of daisies and roses out of thin air and handed it to her. Her smile grew wider and her brown eyes light up.
"Wow!! That's amazing! I wanna learn how to do magic!!" I giggled.
"When you're old enough I'll teach you what I know, ok?"

"Promise??!!"

"Pinky Promise!" I extended my smallest finger, the little girl did the same and interlocked it with mine. "May we see each other again!" I gave a final smile and entered my tent.

"Bye miss!!" She waved me goodbye with a happy expression.

'What a cute and funny little girl! Oh, I didn't even get her name... Oh well, hopefully I'll get to meet her again.' And with that I was fast asleep.

BREAKFAST, NEXT DAY🌄

"Good morning!" I smiled at Kaito as I took my seat. He somehow always manages to be the first to have breakfast.

"Good morning, Ia. Want some?" He pointed at his cup filled with vanilla ice cream.

"I think it's a bit too cold for that..."

"Pff... More for me!" he dove into his... breakfast. "Hey, do you wanna come to the city with me?"

"Yeah, sure" I took a bite out of a sausage. Kaito quickly got up and yelled.

"Great! Let's go!!!"

"H-hey, I'm not done with my breakfast!"

"I'll meet you at the entrance!!!" He left my filed of vision.

".... For god sake." I whispered" I grabbed a croissant and rushed back to my tent to put on a little make up and brushed my hair.

A LITTLE WHILE LATER~

Like Kaito said he was waiting for me in the entrance of the circus.

"Ready?"

"Yeah" we began walking towards the city.

(ANOTHER) A LITTLE WHILE LATER

"Is there a reason you wanted to come?"

"Well... Gumi asked me to run some errands."

"Ok.... Hey, Kaito... How are you holding up?... About Luka, I mean." I played around with the bracelet charms. My friend stayed quiet for a couple seconds, he was shocked I asked him that.

"... I don't know, I guess I'm better, I mean, Gumi and Miku are still pretty devastated about it." He paused, " Ia, there is something about our circus, big secrets that are yet to uncover, I want you to understand that." His voice turned deeper that without even  giving me a single glance. His words created a knot in my stomach. I can't say I was too surprised, after all Luka died in a much to brutal way to be an accident and they have sent Len to investigate.... Does Kaito know that?

"I'll keep that in mind, anyway where do we go first?"

"First we go pick up some costumes!"

So that's what we did, we got the costumes, then we bought some food and went for ice cream. We got back to the circus around 5 o clock. I went to the canteen and prepared myself a jasmine tea. I grabbed the cup and headed for a nearby lake, I sat on the grass and dipped my feet in the water, then I sighed and took a sip of my tea.
I had a lake close by my house, my father would take me there quite often and he would show me trick and spells that made the water levitate or change into shapes... I wish I learnt how to do that. I extended one hand, as if I reached for the water, I concentrated on the blue liquid in front of me. For a few seconds there was an absolute silence but it was broken by small splashing sounds. Somehow I was able to make a small bubble of water but I quickly lost concentration and it fell apart.

"... I tried..." I sip from my tea. My stomach feels somewhat sick. I can't stop thinking of Luka and what Kaito said. What if what happened to Luka were to happen to me?

This chapter will be a bit shorter, sorry~. I'm on my summer break so expect more updates!
