Party of Tears

Ia's POV

"We should head back to the circus"

"Yeah, ok"

«TIMESKIP»

"Len, where are we going exactly?"

"Gumi asked me if we could stop by the practice tent around 5 o' clock." I pulled out my watch out of the right pocket where it was peacefully resting.

"But it's a minute past five." I corrected.

"You don't have to be so precise." He shrugged."Anyway! We're here." He said pointing at the multicolored tent.
It was decorated as if there were going to be a show, with bright colored ballons and confetti falling from the sky. One of the blue died papers landed on my nose.

"What is this?" I asked tilting my head to the side.
Yuuma appears in front of me flipping his pink hair to reveal his yellow eyes. He gets closer to me and and shows me a black box.

"Happy Birthday, Ia." He says with a small smile and rosy cheeks.
I stare at the box, unaware of what is in there.

"Open it" he hands me the black container.

"O-okay." I nodded accepting the box.
I take it in my left hand and open it with my right. Inside rested a white gold charm bracelet, with a charm exactly like the one of my necklace and a heart with four black spikes jolting out.
I lift my head to see Yuuma, but he wasn't there, instead was Kaito with a multicolored silk bag, it was quite small though.

"Happy Birthday, kido!! And may you have many more!!" He exclaimed with a smile stretched around his face, giving me the small bag for me to open.

"Thanks you, Kaito!" I happily accepting his gift.
It was filled with small charms. There was an ice cream, decorated with colored stones as sprinkles, a white gold and emerald leek, a carrot with emerald leaves, a bunny with amethyst eyes, a yellow cliff musical note, a little amethyst bottle with silver details and a small fish with sapphires stones for scales.
All the charms had a special significance, they all represented my friends except the musical note, was that Len?
"Kaito, there all great! Thank you so much!!" I yelled hugging him tightly.

Well, you shouldn't be thanking me alone." He stretched his hand, pointing at something,no, someone behind me. I turned around and saw all of my friends, Miku, Yukari, Dell, Yuuma, Gumi, Len... Everyone except Luka.
Miku had a giant strawberry and chocolate cake in her hands.

"Happy Birthday!!" They all yelled in unison.
A small tear escaped my eye and slides down my cheek. I discreetly whipped it off.

"T-Thank you!! Thank you so much!!" I stuttered. Yukari and Gumi ran towards me and hugs me with great force. Before Miku could tackle me like Gumi and Yukari, Dell stops her.

"Hey, don't drop the cake!" He yells with both his hands grasping tightly Miku's shoulders.

"Hmph, fine!" She pouts as I let out a giggle.

«TIMESKIP»

We were all celebrating my birthday for several hours, laughing and having fun.

"K, Ia." Started Gumi " This is a piñata and what your supposed to do is crack it open and candy will fall from it!" My eyes widened at the mentioning of that word.

"Candy?" I simply said.

"Yeah, you just crack it open with the stick." Dell handed me a long wooden stick."you get 5 second, okay?"

"I'm ready!" I position myself with the stick.

"Start!" Yelled Miku and Yukari in unison.

"KKYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" I rushed to the piñata, I waved my stick and crashed it against the the star shaped box. It fell to the floor and spilled all it's candy, I sat on my knees and grabbed all of the sweets.

"You gonna hoard all the candy?" Asked Yuuma. I only noded.
Miku and Gumi were glaring at me.

"Wait a minute, I WANT THE LEEK CANDY!!!!" Yelled Miku.

"I WANT THE CARROT SWEETS" Shouted Gumi and they both tackled me at the same time, making me drop the candy.

"No!!! My candy!!!!" I wailed.

"Haha! Wait a minut.....BANANA LOLLYPOS!!!!!!!!" Len joined in whatever it is we were doing.

By the time  every one left for they're tents it was eleven o' clock. Kaito and I were the last ones to leave.

"Kaito...can you help me put the charm on the bracelet?" I question with an innocent smile.

"Yeah, of course!" I hand him the box along with the silk bag. He held the bracelet in one hand and started placing each charm.

"How expensive was this?" My eyes filled with curiosity I asked.

"It isn't very polite to ask that ya know!" He teased. I pout in response.

"I was just curious!" I affirmed. He chucked at my comment. "Anyway! Who chose the cliff note?"

"It's from Len!" Kaito kept his eyes on the bracelet with a big smile on his face. He reached the last charm, the one that Luka gave me. Kaito suddenly stopped and stared at the tuna fish.

"K-Kaito are you okay?" I inquired. He said nothing, a tear rolled down his porcelain cheek. Then he talked.

"Y-yeah! I'm totally fine! Why-why wouldn't i b-e?" His voice started to crack and tear came after tear.
I move closer to him and hugged him.

"It's about Luka, isn't it?" At the mentioning of that name he started to cry even more. Before I knew it I started to sob and wail as well. I hugged him tighter than before, trying to find comfort from him. He squeezed me hard.

"I-I didn't get to te-ll h-her!" He cried. I whipped my tears away and asked.

"T-tell her what?"

"Ia, I wanted t-tell her... That I loved her!" His voice cracked. My frown grew bigger.

"I'm sure you get to tell her, in another life." I'm not sure if what I was saying made sense or if I actually meant it.

He removed the tears from his eyes.

"Thank you, Ia, and sorry for making you cry on your birthday." He apologized.

"It's fine." I flashed him a smile.

"Hehe, anyway here's your charm bracelet." He placed it around my wrist.

"Thanks!" I got up from the chair.

"Anyway, it's late you should go to sleep."

"K! Good night!"

"Good night, kido!" He said as I trotted to my tent.

Sorry of the chapter was some what boring, the next one will be more interesting.
