Robinwing was filled with relief when his siblings returned. They're safe. He thought, quickly standing up. The clan was sitting vigil for Moonbeam, who they had found dead beside the river.
He stopped abruptly when he realised that the returning cats were not alone. With them were three apprentice sized cats, all of whom reeked of Bloodshed. ShadeClan cats? What are they doing here?
Stripedstar stood and walked towards the newcomers. "What did you bring these back for?" She asked.
"We wanted to speak to you." The white cat spoke. Her sister, who was black and white, sat next to her. A third, a sandy brown tom with unusual spots, stood at her other side.
"Well?" Stripedstar kneaded the ground with her paws."Your clan owes us a lot. These cats would still be prisoners if it wasn't for us. That is, if they weren't killed.." The black and white she-cat spoke.
"My name is Frost." Said the white cat. "This is Feather and Leopard. We would like to be made apprentices of your clan, in return for the lives of your warriors." She flicked her tail towards Robinwing's friends.
Robinwing felt his paws beginning to tremble. Why would we ever allow ShadeClan cats to join MudClan? He scoffed at the idea.
But Stripedstar seemed to be considering it. "Rainstorm, what do you think?" She asked. Rainstorm stood up, shaking dust from his pelt.
"We need to speak in private." He motioned for Stripedstar to join him in his den, a smaller cave connected to the mooncave. The two disappeared inside, leaving the cats in silence.
Coldwind crept forward until he was standing outside the den, his ears pricked. "What are you doing?" Robinwing growled at him.
"Snooping, duh!" Coldwind spat back, glaring at Robinwing. The two had never liked each other, not since Coldwind gave away Firepaw and Robinwing's relationship to Owlflight.
"What are they saying?" Spidereye whispered.Coldwind's eyes were suddenly wide with shock. "She's going to let them join the clan!"
"Why?" Silverwing growled.
"Rainstorm says.." Coldwind's voice faltered. "He says that they're th.. The reincarnations of our kits, Cloudpool!" His voice gave nothing that he was feeling away. Cloudpool, on the other paw, looked shocked.
Robinwing stared at her as she turned to the newcomers, who hadn't heard what Coldwind said. Cloudpool stared at them with a curious look in her eyes, but said nothing.
Stripedstar and Rainstorm appeared again. "You may stay. She said, her voice giving nothing away. "For now."
"Will we get apprentice names?" Frost asked hopefully. Robinwing shuddered, knowing now that he'd never look at the three the same again.
Stripedstar glared at them. "You will become apprentices when I feel that you have earned it."
Leopard looked disappointed, but the others didn't seem to care. "Will we stay here?" Feather asked.
"Fine." Stripedstar settled down beside Rainstorm, who was sitting vigil for Moonbeam.

"Wake up, Robinwing!" A paw shaking his shoulder woke Robinwing that night. He opened his eyes to see Firepaw staring down at him.
"What?" He muttered, flattening his ears.
"Snowstorm is here."
"Who?" Robinwing sat up to see a white tom standing beside Rainstorm. "Oh, him." He recognized the former MudClan cat quickly.
"I'm sorry that I left MudClan. I felt that I had no choice.." The ShadeClan cat was trembling. "I regret it! I left the clan and came back here. I know you won't let me back in, but I came to warn you. ShadeClan is attacking GreenClan, and they intend to kill them all. You have to help them!"
