The sound of sirens muzzled, and the scent in the air was similar to a doctor's office. Irene was getting a headache from the bumpy roads. The crunchy blue pillows were no big help to that either. She wanted to speak, but something was disabling her to do so. Irene turned her fragile head to her side, now looking at a man. He was talking to a walkie talkie like thing and saying things she could not understand. Odd medical terms and special codes. On her other side, there was another man. Irene noticed they were both dressed in the same clothing. Light blue short sleeve shirts, with badges and silver pins. They seemed to be around the same age, too. Early forties. One of the men was taking a blue glove out of some sort of tissue box. He proceeded with what he began to do after taking a long look at Irene. "What do I look like?" she thought to herself. "Probably faint and pale. I'm positive they have me on some sort of calming drug," she answered. Irene still wondered where Angelina could be. She hoped for her to show up sometime now in the ambulance. "Maybe she's meeting me at the hospital."
