I know y'all have been wait very patiently for an update, but before I you continue, I would like to say I edited the other chapters a bit. If you want to go back and reread, go ahead but it's not really important. One thing that is important (mentioned in chapter 3) is that James is not the same stalker Misty has had so far. James has been watching her, but is not obsessed with her like the other guy.

Misty P.O.V
We were currently at a stalemate. I somehow had to get to my clothes so I could shift. I looked the rogue in the eye and silently told him not to move. I guess he realized something because he stayed put while I grabbed my clothes and shifted behind some bushes.
When I appeared, I was no longer facing a wolf. In its place to the man who looked extremely uncomfortable. I guessed he hadn't shifted back for a while. Luckily, he, or his Wolf, had the decency of remembering to bring shorts.
The man was tall, somewhere around 6 feet, give or take a few inches. His hair was uncut and dirty like his Wolf's fur. I couldn't tell what color it was. His eyes were hazel, changing ever so slightly between shades of green, brown and blue depending on how you look at them.
"See something you like?" his voice was rough and scratchy, like it hadn't been used in a long time.
Guess I'd been staring at him for too long. Although, he was extremely fit and lean from years of surviving as a rogue.
"Hello, my name is Misty." may as well start with formalities, no need to be rude.
"Richard." was his simple reply.
I just nodded my head. I didn't know what to say. What do you say to someone who had tried to kill you?
"Just passing through, looking for a friend who lives around here...I think...You?" I asked.
"Same. Just passing." he shrugged.
"So then, why did you attack me?" I asked hesitantly.
"My Wolf."
What was up with his short answers? I just stared at him blankly.
Richard sighed as if I should already know the answer to his enigmatic answer. "He was telling me there was a threat from a pack when he sensed you and I let him take over until he realized you were an Alpha's mate. He got angry but didn't want a pack after his tail for killing a Luna. He gave me control and I was still unsure of you--comes with being a rogue, you don't trust anyone--then you shifted and here we are."
How does one reply to a response like that? Not to mention, Richard could have killed me easily without his Wolf in control, it's obvious he was stronger than I.
"Th-thanks...for not killing me." I was speechless.
This whole conversation was making me uneasy and I was tired of standing in the middle of nowhere. I was getting ready to leave the rogue, turning around in the other direction. May as well make it look like I know where I'm going right?
Then, Richard said something that shocked me and stopped my feet from moving.
"I was actually looking for my mate. She was around a few days ago, but then I lost track of her scent." he sounded so dejected but didn't wait for a response. "Her scent is faintly on you. Can you think of anyone who was with you recently?"
May as well help the guy, not that I'll be of much help..."I'm sorry, I don't know of anything. I'm new to my mate's pack. You could come with me, try to figure out who the scent belongs to by continuing to trace it..."
