Mortals meet Percabeth (and others)

I strolled into the café 3 minutes before my shift, at 9:57am. As soon as I was spotted, I was already yelled orders at.

"Annabeth, can you pick up table 13 for me? Nobody is there yet.I am packed from 9-7 tonight, lend me a hand?" called the owner, Thalia Grace, as I tied my apron and grabbed my pen out from behind my ear.

"Of course Thals. I'll take care of it, but I have 14-27  Monday at 7pm, after school." I responded as I walked out of the kitchen and logged into my shift at the counter of the extremely packed café. Today is Saturday morning in Manhattan, so as you can expect it to be packed.

"Hello, what do you want to drink today? Our specialties are our Frozen lemonades." I said, not looking up from typing my name and my shift number.

The woman gave me her order and her name, which was Hazel, and the 2 girls with her ordered also, named Piper and Reyna.

I continued to take orders for another 25 people, only to see that a half and hour has passed. The crowd has slowly died down, and the customers trickle in slowly, but in crowds of 2-5 people.

I passed the time by playing the bass guitar, which may seem odd, but this was not the average café, as it was more punker, due to Thalia running it. Thalia is one of the coolest people I know, and she lets me do basically anything that isn't illegal while I'm waiting for customers to come in.

Then, as it slowly became 2 minutes to 12, when my shift gets off, a guy about 6'2 with black hair and green eyes and maybe my age came into the café, looking happy but hungry.

"Hello, welcome to Gold and Black café, what may I get you?" I asked.

"I'll take a frozen blueberry lemonade and your number."

I'll cut to the chase, I gave him my number and asked for his name, which was Percy.

Since I wasn't seeing anyone and my shift was over, I decided to hang out with Percy. It was the best decision ever, as he seemed like he would soon become my best friend. I learned that he lived about 2 apartment building away from me and just moved here from the other side of Manhattan. I also learned that he was a month younger than me, and he's going to start going to my college soon.

I made plans to go on a date with him tonight, and I hope things will become better than good.

That's it for now folks! Really short, I know, I had to make up for the Daisy one, but this one is different for me.
