Carter's POV:
   It's almost time for the holidays. Tonks and I can't wait to go back. I walked over to the clearing I teach in and call for Emerald. Today I'm teaching the students about dragons. Deloris is watching all the classes and she's watching mine today.
   Once all the fifth years in my class get here she inspects everything.
  " Alright. Today I'm teaching you about dragons. This is my dragon, Emerald."
   All the students look in awe. Deloris looks disgusted. Hermione raises her hand.
  " Yes Hermione?"
  " Why do you have a dragon?"
  " Good question. You're the first to ask. I'm a dragon rider. The last one actually. Dragons are very misunderstood. Emerald is a very sweet dragon, but she's very protective of the ones she trusts."
   Draco raises his hand this time.
  " Yes Draco?"
  " Who does the thing trust anyway?"
   He says that with a smirk. I smile.
  " Well Emerald trusts me, my mate, my godfather, my uncle, my cousin, my cousin's friends, my cousin's godfather, the Weasleys, my friends, and my quidditch team. Before you ask, why don't my cousin and his friends step forward."
   Hermione, Ron, and Harry step forward. I smirk as Draco's face fell. Deloris steps forward.
  " Did you say your mate?"
  " Yes. The whole school knows about me. Don't you? After all, you do work for the ministry."
  " No I don't know about you. But are you implying you're a werewolf?"
  " Yes. And if anyone says anything against it I'm not afraid to go to Azkaban for murder."
  " Who is your mate?"
  " Why don't you ask my soon to be brother in-law?"
   Ron steps forward.
  " Her mate is my brother, Charlie."
   She looks even more disgusted and walks away. I smile and continue my lesson.
   After the lesson I see Minnie talking to Deloris. They're both not happy. I step in.
  " What's going on?"
  " Why should you know. Filthy half-breed."
   I freeze. As do the students and Minnie. My eyes turn bright red. All the students step back.
  " What did you say?"
  " I said filthy half-breed."
   I was infuriated. Tonks walked forward and stopped next to me. She placed her hand on my shoulder before I could shift.
  " I'll let you know that my mate and my godfather are also filthy half-breeds! Just because of what we are makes no difference of who we are! So go ahead. Judge us for what we are! Better yet just kill us!"
   With that I shifted and ran out. I ran to the forest them shifted back. I went to the shack and fell asleep.
   When I woke up I saw Tonks holding a vile. It held my potion. I took it from her hands then drank it.
   The next day I wrapped up my wrist then went to teach my class. Deloris had gotten more privileges while at Hogwarts. After classes she walked up to me with a smile.
  " You will be going with Sybil. You are no longer aloud back on Hogwarts grounds."
   She waved her wand and my bags came flying. I went over to Sybil and gave her a hug. She was here last year and I had grown to care for her.
   Tonks and Minnie come running to us. My eyes were blue. Filled with sadness. Same with Tonks' hair. I let a tear fall. My uncle comes out and I run to give him a hug.
  " You have the right to dismiss my teachers, but you do not have the right to banish them from the grounds. That is oh for the headmaster."
   Deloris smiles.
  " For now."
   There was a loud roar. I looked up to see Emerald. She landed and curled her tail around Tonks, Uncle Albus, and I.
  " What is that thing doing here? It should be killed."
  " Do you remember what I said about who Emerald trusts? You see she heard your threat."
   With that I shrunk Emerald and found Harry. We soon go to the R.O.R for the D.A.
   We practice some spells and Neville finally got the disarming spell correct. I saw Harry kiss Cho and smiled. I walked out and packed.
   Tonks and I apparated to headquarters. I was attacked by a hug making me let out an ear-piercing scream. Remus and Tonks covered their ears and fell on their knees. I was dropped by my attacker who did the same as the other two.
   I turned around to see Charlie. I smirked and walked to the kitchen where everyone else was covering their ears. Sirius spoke up.
  " What the bloody hell was that for?"
  " Blame Charlie. He snuck up and gave me a hug once I stepped in the place. Oh and you should've seen Remus, Tonks, and Charlie. It was hilarious. They fell to their knees covering their ears."
  " Oh yeah. Terribly funny."
   I screamed once more and turned around. I saw Remus and smacked him really hard upside the head.
  " What the hell is with you guys sneaking up on me?!"
  " Sophia! Are you trying to make us go def?"
   My eyes turn red. I walk over to Sirius and grab him by the neck of his shirt.
  " DON'T CALL ME SOPHIA!"
   I dropped him and went upstairs. It was the same as when I left it. I heard footsteps so I turned around. I saw Remus.
  " You ok Carter?"
  " No. Hogwarts is not what I thought. Umbridge tried to banish me from the grounds."
  " It's ok. Charlie will help you live through it."
   I couldn't help but smile.
  " You know Tonks likes you, right? And don't you date play that I'm to old for her, or it's to dangerous, or that you don't love her back thing. Remus I know you like her. You may not get a mate like I do but you still get to be in love."
  " Carter it is to dangerous for her. I'm to dangerous for her. What if I hurt her?"
  " You're scared you're going to hurt her, yet she stays with me on full moons. Remember how I told you how I felt about Charlie? I almost killed him. And trust me, nothing will happen to her."
   He sighed then walked out.  Tonks joined me soon. She smiled at me so I smiled back.
  " Want to do something?"
   I give her a mischievous smile.
  " It depends Tonks. What are you talking about?"
  " A prank."
  " I like the sound of that."
  " Ok so I'm going to go down to dinner while you stay up here. You're going to give another ear-piercing scream and I'm going to smile evilly. Sirius is going to be in his dog form and pretend to attack you. Sirius! Get your but up here!"
   Sirius ran upstairs and we told him the plan. He agreed of course.
   When dinner was called Tonks went downstairs and Sirius shifted. She told Molly we wouldn't be eating. I stuck to the plan and let out a scream. Sirius put his paws on my stomach then growled. I tried to get away but he kept 'attacking' me. 
   Everyone ran into the room. I pretended to be really hurt. Charlie yelled at Sirius but he continued the plan. I crawled under my bed and stood behind everyone.
   Sirius shifted and face an evil smile. Everyone looked scared. They still didn't know I was behind them.
  " Why is everyone so scared?"
  " Because Sirius attacked Carter."
   I smiled when Remus said this. He was closest to me. I brought my hands on his shoulders really hard.
  " Boo!"
   He screamed and fell on his but. Sirius, Tonks, and I burst out laughing. We fell on the beds clutching our stomachs.
  " What are we going to do with you three?"
  " I don't know Mad-Eye. I don't know. Now, all of us need to come up with a huge plan to scare the kids tomorrow. It's obvious Fred and George are going to apparate everyone here so we need to think now."
   Sirius smiled evilly.
  " Remus, Tonks, and I could pretend you and Charlie killed us. You two can shift and pretend you killed us. When they get here Remus and I could say something while Tonks screams. So like it?"
   Everyone looked at each other and smiled.
