"So, what should we talk about?" Umi asked cheerfully, sitting on the bed as Kagome sat at her desk. "Are you nervous about entrance exams?" Kagome asked, nervous. Umi smiled beautifully at her younger cousin. "Nah, I think we'll be fine!" Umi said cheerfully. Kagome smirked and giggled. "What do you plan on majoring in?" Kagome asked Umi. Umi thought for a moment. "I'm planning on majoring in biology. You know I love animals." Umi said as Buyo rubbed against Umi's side. Kagome laughed. "More like animals love you." Kagome laughed, both girls laughing. "So, I couldn't help but notice Hojo staring at you in science today." Umi said, winking as she did so. Kagome blushed darkly. "U-Um...." Kagome stuttered. Umi giggled. "He liiiikkkeeesss yooouuu~....." Umi said in a sing-song voice. Kagome threw a pillow at her cousin, blushing a dark cherry red. "S-Shut up...!" Kagome stuttered as Umi laughed, tears collecting in her eyes from laughing so hard. "C'mon, let's go watch a movie Kags." Umi said cheerfully, linking her arm through her cousin's. Kagome smiled and nodded, walking with Umi downstairs. The girls laid on the floor, watching many movies. Soon, both girls were passed out, one on the couch, one on the floor. Umi suddenly heard a quiet voice call out to her as she slept.
"Umi......" The voice called, Umi groaning softly as she rubbed her eyes, sitting up.
"Umi.....come to the well....." The voice said, Umi's body moving on its own.
Buyo noticed from his spot on the roof of Umi's figure walking slowly to the well. He meowed and watched as she went down into the well, Buyo meowing in distress as the sun rose, the well glowing as Umi somehow managed to travel to the Feudal Era.
Umi groaned as she rubbed her eyes, looking up as she saw a starry sky. 'Huh...?' Umi thought, starting to climb to the top. "Thank God I took that rock climbing class back in 9th grade..." Umi mumbled as she finally reached the top, propping her elbows along the top. She looked around the forest, confused. 'Where's the shrine...?' Umi thought as she climbed out of the well, looking around. Her green eyes shone as she started to walk in the direction of Kaede's village. Little did she know, yellow eyes were watching her from the bushes.
