chapter 4

Cassie's POV: Me and Blake sat on the bed and talked and talked for an hour. We were so mad at each other and we weren't talking at all and I really missed him even if it hadn't been that long really. "What do you want to do" Blake asked me. "Well tomorrow is Jenna's 15th birthday and I want to throw a really big party for her, but like a surprise party wanna help me plan it" I asked him and he smiled. "Sure" he said and I went to my little desk and got a notebook and my pink pen. Which I hate pink but I love this pen. "Ok what if we ask Johnnie if Dahvie, Jayy, and Andy maybe Ronnie can come to the party I think she would love that" I said as I wrote it down on the piece of paper. "Balloons" Blake said as my face lit up. "Yass I love balloons" I said and wrote that down too. "We also need the best present ever for her" I said as I tried to think of something she would like. "Lip piercing maybe" I said and wrote it down on the paper. "Does she want a tattoo" Blake asked me. "Ya I'll write that down" I said as I wrote tattoo down on the paper.

"We need some way to keep her busy for the day until we're ready" Blake said and I thought for a second. "Ok what if me you and Matt all hang out with her like walk to the park or something and have Johnnie do all the work and take the credit" I said laughing. "That works" Blake said and started laughing too. "Ok I'm gonna go talk to Johnnie about it" I said as I grabbed my crutches and walked out of the room. I went to find Johnnie and he was in his room. I walked in and he made a gesture for me to sit down next to him so I did. "I want to throw a surprise party for Jenna's birthday tomorrow and I was wondering if you could set up while me Matt and Blake kept her away from the house" I asked trying to catch my breath because for some reason I had talked really fast. "Ok I guess, what were you planning" he asked me. "Well lots of balloons definitely and I wanted you to invite Jayy, Dahvie, Andy, and Ronnie" I said and he nodded. "Ok that should be possible" he said and wrote things down. "Oh and can we get her lip pierced and get her a tattoo as a present" I asked him. "Ya" he said and I went out of his room.

I looked at my phone and it was already 10:00 so I decided that I might as well go to sleep because a lot was going to be going on tomorrow. I went into the room and changed into my pajamas and plugged my phone into the charger and fell asleep.

The next morning

I woke up and looked at my phone it was 8:00. I was so excited for today I wanted Jenna to have the best birthday ever. Blake told Matt everything last night so he would be filled in on everything. I got dressed and did my hair and then I went to the kitchen to get something to drink. It was already 8:30. I went and got into the fridge and Jenna walked in. "Happy birthday" I said and tackled her in a hug. "Thanks" she said laughing. We had already planned for the party to start at one and everyone was coming at 12:30 so around 11:00 we were going to start going to the park "Do you want to watch spongebob" I asked her smiling already knowing the answer. We walked to the living room and turned the TV on. "Oh my gosh this is the episode where they sell pizza from the krusty krab" Jenna said smiling while looking at me. "The Krusty Krab pizza is the Pizza" we started screaming and then Johnnie came out. "Cassie can I talk to you for a second" Johnnie asked me. "I'm watching Spongebob so no" I answered and he kept looking at me. "Its important" He said staring at me. "More important than Sponge bob" I asked him. "Yes very" he said and I grabbed my crutches and went over to him.

"Everyone is coming at 11:00 now so I need to start setting up can you guys go to the park now" Johnnie asked me. "Sure I'll wake the guys up real quick" I said as I ran towards Matt and Blake's room. I went to Matt's room first and he hurried and got dressed when I went into Blake's room. "Wake up we have to go early" I said and he slowly opened his eyes. "Ehh" he said and just laid there. "Get up" I said tugging on his arm. He wouldn't move so I quickly thought of something. I quickly kissed him and he sat up. "Now was that so hard" I asked making my way back to where Jenna was. "Do you want to go to the park" I asked her not showing any expression that I knew something she didn't. I looked at my phone and it was 9:00. Wow this is going to be hard we have to keep her occupied for two hours. Matt and Blake walked to where we were and we started walking to the park. I was starting to get use to my crutches now so I could go faster. We keep stopping to look at flowers and butterflies along the way so we would take some of the time away. "I have a shortcut" I lied so it would take even more time to get there. "Ok" everyone said. I looked at Blake and Matt and they understood what I was doing.

"Cassie its been a half hour and we could've gotten there in five now were lost" Jenna said and I started looking around. I knew exactly where I was. "Just follow me" I said and I started walking to where the park really was. I looked at my phone when we got there and it was 9:50. "Perfect" I mumbled quietly so nobody else could hear but me. We went over to the swings and me and Jenna had a competition on who could swing higher. She won because her head was actually going over the bar that our swings were attached to and I couldn't do that it scared the crap out of me. We kept playing around and then I looked at my phone. 10:50. I texted Johnnie and said we were coming and he said ok. "Hey guys I need to use the restroom let's go ahead and head back" I said as I grabbed my crutches off the ground. We started heading back and I had to try so hard to not smile or anything. We got to the house and went inside. There was balloons all over the floor and Jenna screamed of excitement. "You planned this I know you did" she said and she hugged me really tight.
