chapter 7

Cassie's POV: "Go inside" Johnnie said and we all walked in. "I want you to be careful for now on and no park for a little bit until we know she's gone" Johnnie said as we all sat our bags down. I got out of my wheel chair and grabbed my crutches and went into the kitchen for a snack. "What are you looking for" Blake asked me as he walked in. "Cookies I want cookies" I said and he got into the cupboards and got some and handed them to me. I bit onto a cookie and spit it back out and Blake started dying from laughter. "Raisin you got me raisin as soon as I'm out of this thing I will get you back" I screamed at Blake and threw the cookies at him. He was still dying from laughter when I walked out to get my bag. Jenna and Matt must have already went up to their rooms because their bags were gone and so were they. "Blake I need help" I screamed and he finally walked out of the kitchen. "What with" he asked walking up to me. "Can you carry my bag up for me" I asked him. "Sure" he said and grabbed my bag. "Sit it in my room I'll be right back" I said when we got up the stairs and started walking towards Jenna's room. I looked in and her and Matt were passed out. "Geez I was gonna ask to do homework but whatever" I mumbled walking away. I went back to my room and Blake was sitting on the bed.

"They're both passed out" I said putting my crutches beside my bed and sitting down. I pulled out my binder and Blake did the same. "This will probably take 5 minutes top" Blake said and I nodded my head in agreement. We started with the homework and it was only 3 questions.

1. How do you say your partners name
2. How do you say your name
3. How do you ask someone's name

It only took us 3 minutes and then we put our things away. "I'm tired but if I go to sleep now I won't be able to sleep later" I said yawning and looking at the clock. "Same here" Blake said and he put his arm around me. "What do you want to do" I asked him. I looked over and he was asleep. "Seriously" I mumbled looking at him. Nobody in this house is going to be able to sleep tonight except for me. I ended up closing my eyes and I fell asleep too.

Cassie's Dream

"I will be back to bring you home"
"No she is my daughter now if you take her you will be charged for kidnappings"

Awake

I woke up scared remembering what had happened earlier that it wasn't just a dream. I looked over at the clock I had actually slept for a half hour it was only 4:30. I looked over and Blake was still asleep. His arm was still wrapped around me so I tried to move it without waking him up but I couldn't even move his arm for some reason. "Blake wake up I'm trapped" I said going to shake him but I couldn't move. The only thing I could move my head which I could still barely move. "Blake" I screamed and he woke up. "What" he asked me sitting up and looking at the door way and I did the same right as I saw a black shadow run out. I went to sit up and I actually could. "The shadow people" I whispered so only I heard. "What's wrong" Blake asked me because I was still staring at the doorway with a blank stare. "Cassie" he asked me and I could hear the worry in his voice. "The...the shadow people....it was on me....trying...to...to kill me" I said still looking at the doorway. "Its ok" he said and pulled me into a hug as I closed my eyes.

"I promise its ok" he said and held me tighter. He let go and I still had a blank stare on my face. "Don't leave me alone" I said and a tear fell from my eye. "I won't I'll stay with you until you feel better" Blake said and wiped the tear away. "Guys were having a early supper" I heard Johnnie scream from downstairs. I could hear Jenna and Matt walking down so me and Blake got up. "Here" he said giving me my crutches. "Thanks" I said and we started to go down to the kitchen. We got down and saw Johnnie had ordered Pizza. "We eat pizza a lot" I said sitting at the table. "Well its good" Jenna said as she grabbed a slice. "True" I said and grabbed a plate and put two pieces on it. I checked my phone and it was 4:51. Wow it was a really early supper we usually eat at 6:30. After we all ate we went to the living room. "Johnnie can we go to the park if you come with us" I asked him and he thought for second. "Yes but at all times I want to see you" he said and we got our things ready. I put my phone in my pocket after pulling my hair up and we walked out.

We got to the park and I went and just laid in the grass my crutches beside me as I looked at the sky. "Its so hot" I said as Jenna laid beside me. "Ya but it feels perfect" she said and she looked at me. "I'm scared" I said and she looked worried. "What's wrong"she asked me. "Remember the shadow people one was sitting on my chest today" I said and her jaw dropped. "There was one in my room too" she said and she looked at the sky. "It scared the crap out of me" she admitted. "Wow you're never scared" I said and she laughed. "Nope but that think scared the crap out of me" she said and I smiled. "Can we talk about something else" I asked looking at the clouds. "Or we can just watch the clouds go by" I said still looking at the sky. "Ya let's do that" she said and she looked back to the sky. I could hear the guys running around after each other and Johnnie was sitting on a park bench. I watched the clouds go by and tried to figure out what they looked like. After all that's happen lately this was very relaxing for me.
