Chapter 6

Time skip three weeks the first day of school

Cassie's POV: I woke up to my alarm blaring in my ear and got up to get dressed. I felt like a zombie moving around the room. I grabbed the outfit that I had laid out the night before. Which was a BOTDF shirt black leggings since I couldn't get black skinny jeans on over my cast and black vans. I put them on and then I put my makeup on. After I was done with my makeup a decided to straighten my hair. My belly button didn't hurt anymore and my foot felt better too. I wasn't able to get it off for another three weeks though which sucked. After I was done with everything I looked at the clock and it was already 7:00 and I had gotten up at 6:30. I got my crutches and started walking downstairs when I heard snoring. I walked past Blake's room and he was still asleep. "Get up you're going to be late" I said and he sat up. "Ughh" he said and I started walking out of the room. I checked to make sure the other two were up and they must have been because they weren't in their rooms.

I made my way downstairs and got everything together in my book bag. "Cassie you're going to have to use this for school" Blake said as he came down the stairs with my wheel chair. "I know" I said as I put the crutches down and sat in the wheel chair. "Johnnie said we are supposed to stop at the office when we get there" Jenna said walking out of the kitchen with Matt. "Ok should we leave now because it takes ten minutes to get there so if we leave now when we get there it will be around 7:30 and school starts at 7:53" I said. "Ya let's go" Matt said and we walked out the door Blake pushing me. We got to the school around 7:30 like we figured we would and we went to find the office since we had never been in this school before it took a little bit. "Hi kids you must be the new students here are your sceduals your girls dad requested for all the same classes if you have any troubles please come and we'll help" the secretary said and we grabbed our sceduals.

We went around and found where all of our classes were and by time we were done it was 7:44 so we went and put our things we didn't need for our first class in our lockers. We walked to where the Choir room was and Blake was pushing my wheel chair. We went in and it was 7:49. We took our seats and the warning bell rung which meant it was 7:50. The teacher walked in and she was wearing a pretty black dress. She looked like she was in her late 20's. Lots of the students walked in and their faces lit up when they saw us. Right as the last kid walked in the bell that meant class started rung and the teacher walked to the front of the class. "Hi kids my name is "Mrs.Lynn and I hope you have lots of fun with me throughout the year today we are going to start our songs and our first concert isn't until the Christmas concert" the teacher said as she handed out music sheets. We each got five songs and I looked at the different songs. There was Jingle Bell rock, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, Silver Bells, Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, and Silent Night. "Ok kids so we are going to need both a boy and girl duet for Silent night and We Wish You A Merry Christmas is anybody interested" she asked us I looked around and only mine and Jenna's hands were up.

I quickly looked at Blake and she looked at Matt and they raised their hands. "Ok ladies I want to see how you both sing first you can sing any song together" she said and me and Jenna looked at each other. "Can we sing Song Without a name by Johnnie Guilbert" I asked and Jenna was smiling. "Yes go ahead and start" she said and me and Jenna started singing.
