As we walked to the Hermes cabin, I pestered Annabeth with questions. "Who's my godly parent?". "Who was that boy?". "Why is my friend half goat?". "Well," Annabeth started, "I don't know who your godly parent is, but we can narrow it down."
"How?"
"Well, which parent did you live with before you came here?"
"Um..." I thought for a moment, "My mom."
"Then your parent is male. Probably Hermes."
"And that boy?"
"Oh, Percy?"
So that's his name. I thought.
"Um, yeah who is he?"
"Well, he's a savior. Of this camp, of this world, of- of my heart." She whispered the last part.
"Oh." We walked in silence the rest of the way. When we got close to the cabin, I heard yelling from inside.
"Well, here it is!" Annabeth said. She pushed the door open and everything stopped. One kid shouted, "Regular or undetermined?"
"Undetermined." Everyone groaned. Two kids that looked like twins came up.
"I'm Conner." One said and stuck his hand out.
"And I'm Travis." The other said and also stuck his hand out. I saw something on their palms. Joy buzzers. I thought and chuckled to myself.
"What's so funny?" Conner said.
"Nothing, just your desperate attempt to prank me." I said with a smirk. I laughed at their dumbfounded expressions.
"How did you know?" They said in unison.
"It's pretty easy to see."
"I didn't even see it!" Annabeth said. I shrugged. Conner and Travis shrugged and invited me in. "What's your name?" Travis whispered to me.
"Michael." I whispered back.
"Attention!" Travis yelled, "This is a new camper, Michael. He's undetermined as you heard earlier. He's going to sleep here until he's claimed, so no pranks on him until then." A few people nodded and every one went back to what they were doing.
"Hey." Annabeth pulled me too the side and handed me a bag, "Here is a bedroll and some toiletries."
"Thanks." I said and went inside. I spread my bed roll out on the floor and tried to go to sleep. Eventually, I did.
