Lunch Time.

Ringggggggg!!!!!

There goes the bell. It was time for lunch.

I was heading to the cafeteria when I passed by C/N.
"Hey, yo, Y/N!" He stopped me.
I walked back to where C/N was.
"Yeah?"
"Wait for me. Let's walk to lunch together." He said smiling, while stuffing his notebooks in his locker.
"S-Sure." I stuttered, blushing.
He closed his locker.
"Come on, let's go." He walked beside me.

"So why do you all of a sudden want to eat lunch with me?" I asked, expecting a romantic response saying C/N liked me.
"What is it wrong to want to spend lunch time with my friend?" He said, smiling. A second later his smile was gone.

Yeah. Friend.

"What is it wrong to want to spend lunch time with my friend?" I said.

Oh crap. Why'd I say that? Great. Now she's gonna think the wrong thing.

Why'd you have to be so nervous? Of all the stupid things you could say in front of her. You call her a friend. Genius.

Your POV
"I guess it's not." I said, putting on a fake smile.

When we got to the cafeteria we fell in line and got lunch.

"Come on, let's eat outside." He said.
"It's cold, I don't have a sweater." I replied.
He smiled at me.
"Don't worry, you can use mine. Now come on, let's go."
"No, C/N I can't do th--"
"No no, I insist. Let's just go outside."
"But.."
"Please?"
"Fine." I gave in.

We opened the door, the cold air hitting my face.

We sat down.
He put his lunch down, got his jacket and put it around me, my face turning red.

It was really cold. LIKE REALLY COLD. I couldn't feel my hands.

"Oooooh! C/N and Y/N!" My classmate eating on the table behind me teased.
"Just kiss already!" They shouted.
I turned around, trying to hide the smile on my face.
"Just shut up!" I turned back around to face C/N, who was holding my hand, I was shocked and blushing.

Is this what friends do?

"Sorry, for being weird Y/N, but can I ask you a question?" He said.
"Y-Yeah. S-Sure."
"Okay. Sorry, for calling you a friend back there, it was a mistake." He looked at our hands. "Anyways... Wanna go out with me?" He looked at me, smiling, his eyes were sparkling.

How could I say no? I've been waiting for forever for this.

I smiled.
"Yes."

"And I now pronounce you husband and wife!" My classmate shouted from behind us.

We just laughed.
