Damian's POV
The sun went out and the night grew darker like a black blanket bringing darkness to the world. Beautiful bright stars filled the night sky as the moon glowed brightly in the sky enough to see a little in this ruthless kingdom.
I tightly sealed my black mask that covered my eyes and a hat covering my soft brown hair.
" yo Hunter are ya ready yet" Flynn yelled/whispered trying not to wake everyone before he slowly jumped out of the window
I quickly nodded grabbing the bag of money that I had gotten the previous day
Once again I sneaked out of the giant castle without telling My father, just hope he doesn't find out about me leaving....again
I quietly walked over to the window near the side of my room and jumped onto the huge branch of the large tree near my room and climbed down meeting Flynn at the bottom
Wondering why I'm wearing a disguise yet... I go by the name 'Shadow' at night I escape from my home and go to the lowest part of the kingdom where most of the poor people live suffering because of the shortness of money for there family
Where children's stay home and work instead of going to school where parents are forced to work at least two jobs to feed there families where many elderly pass away day after day from the illness because they can't afford to get treatment all because my father's to selfish and only care about himself and can't see the poor people suffering.
You might be wondering why i just don't give my money instead of stealing well i can't because my father always knows what i do with my money and if he found out he would kill me literally kill me
I don't give a fuck if he kills me but the only reason i try not to is because I know that one day when the time comes and i become the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack. i can bring this kingdom back to the way it was before my heartless father took over from my grandfather
only few more years until i turn 20 until the Alpha position is passed down to me
We walked into the town and found some houses that needed money. We checked if the lights were on and if they were we would knock on there doors with a secret knock which were a number and beats for a knock.
And finally a women in her late 40s opened up and smiled at me she knows who I am and what I do everyone knows about the 'shadow' but no one has ever captured me. Guess I'm that good
She told me how much she needed and we gave it to her and left to go to the next house
Me and Flynn went to houses like that for a while until we ran out of money.
We started to go back in silence when Flynn broke the silence
"Hey Damian can i tell you something" he said
"Yeah sure" i shrugged
"Well you know how you've been dating that chick Seraphienia well i think she's cheating on you" he said quickly avoiding eye contact
"What how would you know " i said a little too loudly looking at him with a look of disbelief
"Look dude I'm sorry I didn't mean too upset you its just that I was in town a few days ago delivering a message to the people when I saw a girl that looked just like her and saw her holding hands with this blond haired guy and I saw him kiss her and saying ' I love you Seraphienia' "Flynn said
By now my hand was in a tight fist where my knuckles were almost turning white as snow
"Why didn't you tell me this earlier" I mumbled looking away from him
"Mate I didn't want to hurt your feelings but i saw her again yesterday with him as well and I thought it would be best if I told you" he said rubbing the back of his neck nervously
I sighed and rubbed my temples in frustration
" Of course she would do this" I mumbled looking away from him towards the ground and crossing my arms over my chest
"Are you OK Damian" he asked looking concerned after i haven't said anything for a while
"Of course I'm not OK idiot my fucking girlfriend cheated on me do you really think I'm OK" I yelled and throwing my arms in the air in every direction
" OK OK sorry I was just asking chill dude" he said both of his hands up as if he surrendered
" whatever" I groaned and hurried home so the maids wouldn't know I escaped
"Dude you can't just walk away from this like nothing happened you have to do something " he whispered as we enter my large room and sat on my bed hoping no one would awake
" I'm not a retard of coarse I'm going to break up with her I never even liked her in the first place"
It always had to be me with all the problems and misery doesn't it?
