Mystery's POV

I woke up at two in the morning I couldn't get back to sleep. My brother was still home so I tried not to make any noise while I prepared my things for school. While doing so, I accidentally knocked over a plate. With swift movement, I scrambled to catch it, but instead, I, ended up falling.

My head ached due to this very fall. As expected, blood escapes my body and to make it worst, my ankle was now twisted. “I should've stayed in bed” I say mentally as I groaned.

Suddenly I heard his voice and froze in the position I was now in. Now I realize that even though I tried my best not to be heard, he still heard the shattering sound of the plate.

“Mystery that better not be you!” he yelled. Panic now flooded my body at the sound of his voice. With everything I had within me, I bolted up to my room ignoring the pain in my ankle. Hastily, I locked the door behind me and rushed to the closet as an attempt to be safe.

“Mystery!” he screamed. His tone of voice wasn’t pleasant at all; it held that ever so frequent dangerous ring to it. Curling up in a tiny ball in the corner of the closet I hoped silently that he wouldn’t find me. He constantly hit the door over and over again; I knew nothing good was going to happen to me.

Not knowing what happened next, everything went black.

Mason's POV

I got up to a loud thud and it was clear where and who cased that raucous. ‘Mystery,’ I thought knowing that she was the cause of all of this. Rushing out of my room I shout her name out loud, making sure she recognized my ton of voice.

Walking into the room the sound once echoed from I saw the pool of blood on the floor. “You stupid girl” I hissed under my breath, still having a closer look at the damage caused.

She messed up the floor, again. Looking around, she was nowhere to be found so I headed towards her room. “Mystery!” I screamed out her name but I was only welcomed with silence.

She didn't answer, already having a gist of what was about to happen next. I hit the door ferociously until it broke down. There was no way in letting all my anger builds up on my insides; I way too pissed.

Then I noticed blood seeping from the closet. “Hah found you…” I trailed off but still managing to keep a cold monotone during the process. I opened the door slowly, only to see that she had passed out. I cursed under my breath and left.

Realizing the time it was, I left her in the house and then went to work.

Blake's POV

I woke up feeling very uneasy but still I got ready for school anyway and hoped my dad would change his mind. Sadly for me he didn’t, without an ounce of hesitation. I felt so uncomfortable being around any people but there was no way in stopping people from being around me.

Class finally began. Entering the class, the first thing the teacher began doing was marking the attendance. I was in a seat of my own from ever since I entered this school but all this was about to change. Unfortunately for me, the teacher informed me that there was this girl who will be my seat partner.

‘If the teacher only knew that I was Schizophrenic she would never let me sit next to hear. Heck I would not even be allowed in school,’ I thought to myself, leaning back into my chair.

It was fifth period when I saw her. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Yet everyone seemed to avoid her but I knew that deep down, she was very special.
