"Dear God" my father started to pray. "We would like for you to bless our food tonight as we eat, amen." Dad finished the payer and we began to eat.

My little brother started telling mom and dad about his day at school. He's only ten but he's fairly smart. He can read highschool level and he did great on his test scores. The school wanted to bump him to middle school but my parents decided that and he stayed in elementary school.
After the conversation was done talking to the parents about school, my dad asked "so how does it feel to become leader of the youth group?" I started to smile obnoxiously. "It's kinda nerve reckoning honestly. But I like it."

Dad and I carried this conversation for a few minutes. Once dinner was done I did my chores and went to my room. In a few days I would be leading the church youth group to a retreat trip.
I washed up, got ready for bed, and did my homework.

I heard a meow from behind me to see my imaginary cat walking to me. I know, it's wierd that I have an imaginary friend let alone animal, but he's been there since as long as I could remember. It was a while though before I named him, but when I did, I named him "Iztele" which is Latvian for imagination which was fitting. He has purple hair with a cat-like body but he also has a mane and small fangs. I believe that some of the reasons why I can see him is because he's a gift from God and he reminds me that I'm never alone. But Iztele only comes to me when he wants to.

Once I was done with my homework, I fell into my bed and started reading and before I knew it, I was fast asleep.
