Minecraft Diaries: The Secret Of Phoenix Drop

Chapter 3

Aphmau's POV

Once Garroth and I arrived at the end of the path, there were tall, amazing gates right before all of us. Every once in a while, there were large towers. Guard towers, I'm assuming. Everyone looked star struck, including me. Someone came up to the gates with dirty blonde hair and guard armor. He studied us, confused.

"Zoey," He nodded in greetings towards Zoey, and she nodded back.

"These are... It's really hard to explain. Please let them through." She pleaded, giving him a sorry look.

"Sure." He replied, pushing a button, which opened the gate between us. On the other side of the gates were large buildings and homes, they were beautiful and very detailed. As we walked past the gates, there were a large amount of villagers passing by, either on horses or walking. This was a very large village.

"Guys, welcome back." Zoey says, and we all look at her, confused. Welcome back? "This is the new Phoenix Drop, duh. Ugh, I better explain what happened." She starts to walk backwards and started to explain.

"Since you guys disappeared, Levin, Malachi, and the rest of the people aboard the ship got back and were horrified to see their Lord gone. We all thought you died, and we were all heartbroken. But, I always thought that you didn't die, and there was some reason you disappeared. Meanwhile, O'Khasis started to go in a frenzy, not knowing what to do with Zane gone. Many people fought over the throne, but no one could decide who would be the next leader.

"Finally, O'Khasis gave up and parted away. They abandoned their village and left to live in other villages. Possibly starting their own. As for Meteli- Cadenza was needed back in Meteli because Hayden was dying. So, the people there crowned her the knew Lord and she took over. Meteli's in good hands. As for Scaleswind- Nicole became their Lord and moved away there. I don't really know what happened, because she left so suddenly, but she seemed angered. So I didn't ask for much. "

We all stared at her, shocked with all the news. I felt tears forming in my eyes, and I looked away to hide them. All of this news stirred in my head, and I had no idea what to do.

"Aphmau, the people of Phoenix Drop made you a grave. Even though I tried to convince them not to, since you weren't dead. Ugh, this will be so hard to explain to my people... You and the rest being alive, this all gives me a headache. I'm just happy you're back." Zoey explained, rubbing her temples. I sighed and looked at the others, who seemed just as surprised as I was.

"'Your' people?" Emmalyn questioned, and Zoey nodded, rubbing the back of her neck.

"You see, there was an election for the people of Phoenix Drop to become the next lord. At the time, Levin and Malachi were too young, 12 at the time, to be elected so I jumped in for fun. Dante, Logan, and Dale all wanted to be lord as well, but the people here thought I'd be best. So, here I am... Lord of Phoenix Drop.."

"Alright, just.. We should find a place to stay." Laruance said, and Zoey nodded.

"Of course. Follow me." She replied.

Once we all found where we needed to stay, we all got free time to stay at our homes and rest from the experience. I was lying on my bed, looking out the window on my right. So... This is Phoenix Drop, 15 years into the future? What happened here when I was missing? I sighed.

Suddenly there is a knock on my door. I sit up and quickly move down the stairs and open the door. Garroth is standing in front of me, and I blush. I step out of his way to let him in. He slowly steps in and shoves his hands in his new jeans. I close the door behind him and mumble out, "Hi.." And smile a bit.

"Hi." Comes the reply.

I sit on the couch next to me and stare out the window. It was starting to look gloomy, and there want many people outside. Only a few farmers tending to their crops.  "How are you feeling?" Garroth asks me, and I look over to see him sitting next to me.

"Better, I guess. I still haven't seen Levin or Malachi." I sigh, and he rests a hand on my shoulder. I fold my hands on my lap.

"It's okay, I bet they'll remember you. To them, you're still the beautiful young lady who raised them." He told me, and he smiles at me slightly. "It'll be okay."

I turn and hug him tight. "Thank you.." I whisper into his ear and smile, resting in his arms.

Tomorrow I'll see Levin and Malachi for the first time. In 15 years.
