It was a night just like every other... Until, I got the phone call. The call saying my brother, Luke, was dead... I didn't know what to do, so I just stood there in shock, then... I collapsed, reality had set in and I couldn't do anything but cry and cry.
My mother, who was still speaking to me through the phone, had said that they were holding a funeral for him at the old abandoned chapel.
"Life is what you make it, Juliet. You have to promise me that you'll live it to it's fullest"
Those were the last words I heard from him.
Soon after, I started packing my bags and trying not to cry, cause truth be told, it hurts... A lot.
After my bags were all packed and ready we take long, boring 13 1/2 hour drive from Beverly Hills to Salem, Oregon.
"I really don't want to go, mom" I said while talking to her on my cell," you know how I feel about that chapel..."
"You'll be fine, Juliet, trust me."
"Mom... You know what happened to me at that place... The memories alone would kill me," I already knew I was fighting a losing battle, but can't blame a girl for trying. Then, once the drive was over, and I was standing in front of my mom's door, I felt a wave of anxiety wash over me. I couldn't explain it, it was strange. Yet, nothing else notable happened that day.

Later on that night, I decided to go visit the old chapel. I figured that I might as well face my fears now rather than later. So, I threw on a pair of black skinny jeans, a Black Veil Brides band tee, and my black converse.
I made my way down to where my street bike was parked and headed down the road towards the chapel. I don't know why I decided to go to the chapel, I only have bad memories there. Before I realized it, I was at the chapel.
I parked my bike and headed inside, so far everything seemed normal, but I was still on edge. Then, I started hearing it, the song... That same song that played that night, the song that only brought bad things with it... Wait...
Who's playing that song?
Where's it coming from?Naturally, I looked around hoping to find the source; when suddenly, I heard someone behind me, laughing and walking closer. "Who are you?" like he was just gonna answer me, I couldn't see him, but the feeling in the room was heavy, I knew something wasn't right. He kept getting closer and closer even though I was stepping back every time he stepped forward, I've got to get out of here.
I was almost to the door, when I suddenly tripped over something. I kept crawling backwards and finally saw what I had tripped over, it was a radio, the radio that was playing the song. I'm screwed! But, just as thought that, another figure appeared. Now what?! I could make out the new guys face, just barely though.
He had black hair, with sort of an emo haicut. He looked to be about 5'9 and was thin. He had nice facial features as well and was dressed in all black. He's kinda cute... Ok he's really cute. I watched the two men start arguing for a while, then suddenly the man whose face I couldn't see suddenly fell to the ground and the other guy walked over to me, threw me over his shoulder, and started walking out.
Panic, fear, and anger filled me and I started resisting by thrashing around. "STOP IT! Or I'll drop you" he yelled it, but he didn't really seem angry. "Who are you, what do you want from me?!" by this time all I can feel is shear terror. "My names... Well you can call me Romeo..." he trailed off. OH! The irony of it! HA! Romeo! Of all the names this guy could have, it has to be Romeo!!! "What's your name?" he asked me. I replied, " If i told you, you wouldn't believe me," I rolled my eyes and sighed,"It's Juliet."
He set me down"That's not funny." "I'm not joking, I swear," I don't really know if I can trust him or not, but when I looked around, I noticed he had taken me to my bike. When I went to thank him, he was gone.
What just happened? Who was that guy? Why did he save me? I got on my bike and went home, I didn't realize how important that encounter was, untill a week later.
