-:-:- Alex's POV -:-:-

It was a beautiful morning. I had woken up really early and watched the sunrise through Jack's window. He wasn't awake yet and it would be a bit unfair to wake him just yet, given it's like 4 in the morning.

After silently creeping down stairs to avoid waking anyone, I saw Killian sat in the sitting room.

"Hay Alex. How'd you sleep?" He turned slightly to look at me,

"Fine. What you doing up so early?" He turned away slightly only to get up and walk to the kitchen. I followed him quietly and sat at the breakfast bar.

"I just did. What about you?". We conversed for a bit about life and eventually it was 7 am.

"Hay, didn't you say your car wouldn't start. Do you want me to have a look at it?"

"Sure thing, that would be great." He got up and got his keys, I followed him out of the house to the car park. He popped the hood.

"Okay, Try to turn on the engine." The engine started to crank but wouldn't fire up. I checked a few small bit only to find the fault was battery acid corrosion. Easy to fix. "Ok, i see the problem do you have baking soda?"

"Yeah why?" He looked really confused.

"Okay, could you bring out a bottle of hot water and a packed of baking soda." I tugged the battery terminal, just as he turned to leave. "Wait. Do you also have an adjustable wrench?"

"Yeah. Do you need that too?" I nodded turning back to the car looking at the loose battery terminal covered in green crystals. A couple minutes later, Killian returned with Jack, who assumed must have woken up not long ago, from the bed hair he was openly displaying right now. I poured some baking soda into the bottle of hot water. Tightening it up, I asked Killian to shake it up while I tightened the terminal. Once done, I took the bottle off him and slowly poured it onto the green crystal. They instantly began to dissolve and bubble up. The two men stared in wonder at the sight. Eventually the acid crystal build up was gone. I once again tighten the terminal and washed it over with clean water. Pushing down the hood. I told Killian to fire her up. And that she did. The car instantly woke up from her slumber, ready and raring to go.

"OH MY GOD, HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" Killian yelled jumping out the car giving me a big hug. Eventually he let go and I could catch my breathe.

"I used to fix the machinery on the farm with my dad." We talked for a while, before leaving the now working car to retreat into the warm apartment.

"Hay, Alex!" Jack asked getting my attention after eating some breakfast. I looked up from my phone, with a questioning stare. "I know you probably don't want to but do you want to do a collab. I mean, if you don't want to, it's fine, you know, you're on holiday and stuff but.." I cut off his rambling

"I'd love to. But first, you have to get changed out of your PJs." He looked embarrassed before running off up the stairs to his room. Jack later shouted for me to join him in his room.

This was going to be fun.
