Chapter 3 - Flashback

-I like that one.-I said as Katy and I walked in the pet shop.- It's adorable.

-Adorable? It looks like it swallowed the whole apartment!-She said laughing.-We are talking about our baby!

-Baby? It's just a dog!

I pushed her and she pushed me back, I fell and started laughing, Katy laughed too and I felt something licking my face. I opened my eyes and saw an adorable white dog and looked at Katy.

-I want this!-I said a 100% sure t had to be mine.

-Alright, get up and let's get our new baby.-She offered her hand and helped me get up.

I held the dog that looked more like a polar bear in my arms.

-What are we going to name him?-She asked curious.

-Him? How you know it's a he?- I asked raising my eyebrow.

-Well it looks like a bear and I doubt that this.-She said as she lifted the dog to see it's bottom.-Makes him a girl.

-Ok, Bear it is.- I said smiling.

She smiled at me and smiled at Bear.

-Kay... Katy... Katyenka- I said as I tried to remember the dream I had last night.-Bear, where's Bear?

-Jadee?- I opened my eyes and saw Katy. I smiled and closed my eyes.-She's awake! Someone call Dr. Gilbert.

I opened my eyes again and saw a nurse looking at me, I closed my eyes trying to make her go away, where did Katy go? She was just there calling my name.

-Where's Katy?- I asked confused.

-Who's Katy?-The nurse asked as she snapped her fingers so the other nurses would hurry and called the doctor.-Jadee? Who's Katy?

-Where is she? She was just here a minute ago! You've to let me see her... And where's Bear?- The doctor entered the room. I didn't say a word.

-Morning Jadee, how are you feeling today?-He asked as he took a thermometer and put it inside my mouth. He turned to the nurse.- How is she this morning?

-Hallucinations. She keeps talking about 'Katy' and 'Bear' I'm guessing it's her pet or something, she claims to have seen 'Katy' a couple minutes ago.- she said as I stared at her with a piecing look.

The doctor walked towards me and talked to me in a lower tone of voice hoping I wouldn't freak out or something.

-Jadee, who's Katy?

-Katy? I only get to call her Katy!-I snapped at him and closed my eyes trying to convince myself that this wasn't real, that it was just a bad dream that everything would be like before. That Katy would wake up next to me.- Her name is Katyenka

-I can't help you if you don cooperate.

-Cooperate?! With what? Just let me go and I won't be your problem anymore.-I snapped again.

The doctor looked at me and whispered something to the nurse. He walked out the room without saying a word.

The nurse came to me with a needle in her hand, she took one of the tubes that were connected to my skin and released a green liquid that went straight to my veins.

-What is that? What are you doing to me?- I asked confused.

The nurse just looked at me and them left the room. Minutes later I started remembering.

-Green eyes, red hair, white skin.-A police officer came into the room.- Thin, perfect smile, perfect body, soft lips...She is perfect...- I fell asleep.

I woke up, it was 10 am and I couldn't believe I was awake. I sat on the bed and looked at Katyenka that looked so perfect sleeping. I got up and took a shower.

When I got out of the shower Katy wasn't in the bed anymore, I called her name. Bear passed by me and I said good morning to it, it had gotten so big since we bought it.

-In here.-She yelled from the kitchen.

I walked to her and grabbed her from behind and put my arms around her waist. I kissed her neck and then turned her so she would face me, she looked me into the eyes.

-What?-She asked anxiously.

-Good morning, gorgeous.- I told her as I lose her cheek.

-Good morning, J.-She grabbed the two plates that where on the table and walked into the living room.- I made cereal for breakfast.- She smiled.

-Yum! My favorite.- We both laughed.

-So, what are your plans for the day?-She asked as she sat on the couch.

I sat next to her.

-Well I was thinking about looking for a job? I don't know, you know we need money and you work your ass off so...-I said as I are my cereal.

-Babe, you don't have to get a job, you know I get well paid at the club and maybe if I cover a few shifts them we will have enough to go on that trip we've talked about.

-I know I just don't like that you have to do all the work. And it would be nice going back there, after all those years we could take a break and go back to where we first met.- I smiled at the idea.

She kissed me, took my empty plate and walked to the kitchen.

-Alright so what if we go back int...- her voice sounded like she was far away.

-What?- I asked confused.

-Yeah, why don...

Everything was spinning round and round and I fell on my back, I could see everything was still spinning and as I tried to call Katy she never answered. I closed my eyes and everything went black.

-Okay, she's waking up.- I heard voices coming from everywhere straight into my ears.

-She's back.

-Get me the other nurs...

-Where is Dr. Gilbert he was supposed to be here an hour ag...

-On the count of three. One. Two. Three.- I felt like they lifted me from where I was and put me on another bed.- Her blood pressure seems to be alright.-One person opened my eyes and pointed light with at them with a flashed light.- She seems to he reacting just fine.

I felt how they kept moving me on my bed. Everything was so confusing.

They finally left me on the entrance of a room that seemed to be some sort of surgery room.

-Dr. Gilbert you're required in the emergency room.- I heard a voice come off the walls.- Dr. Gilbert you're required in the emergency room.

Dr. Gilbert walked into the room and I realized I was in the emergency room. What are they gonna do to me?
