Chapter 4 - The Rain

K people and alien :p before you start reading I gotta say that this chapter sucks donkey dick! xD but ok what ever.

"Dr. Gilbert you're required in the emergency room."

That was all I could hear inside my head, I opened my eyes, I was blinded by the white light hitting my face, I sat down on the bed and looked around, I was alone in a grey surgery room surrounded with machines and tables with knifes, forceps and other things.

I was walking towards the silver door that had the word "exit" on a sing, I stopped in front of it looking at the blurry reflection of my body trying to find stitches or something that proofed that they had done something to me but I didn't find anything.

Even though I couldn't find any scars or anything like that I did noticed something weird about my reflection, I wasn't wearing a hospital robe, I was wearing tight jeans, high heels, -Something I would never wear- a black shirt and a leather jacket.

I walked out the room and the voice inside my head was drowned by the sound of people's voices and the sound of the rain. I

found myself in a crowded place that I figured it would be the emergency room. I felt lost and out if place, there was a lot of nurses running around and people bleeding out, I walked to the desk where there was one busy nurse.

-Excuse me.-The nurse didn't even look at me.- I'm looking for Dr. Gilbert.

-Dr. Gilbert?-She raised an eyebrow.-Sweetie, there's no Dr. Gilbert in this hospital.

I was in shock.

-What?-I started laughing.- You're kidding, right?

-No.-She said very serious.

-What? No, no, no! This can't be happening.-I grabbed my hair and started pulling it.- Ok, umm could you at least tell me what they did to me and who did it?

-Sure, name?

-Jadee.

-I'm sorry. We don't have any patient in the whole hospital named Jadee.

-What the heck? Ok where am I?

-Saint Anthony Hospital, here...- She started but I interrupted her.

-...Here in Chicago. What is going on in here?-I started to look at all the people in the room when I saw a young girl curled up. She was wet because of the rain but you could still appreciate her beautiful cherry red hair.- Katyenka.- I whispered as I walked towards her.

I approached her slowly so I wouldn't take her by surprise.

-Kay... Katy?-I tried to say her name but it wouldn't come loud enough.- Katyenka?

She turned around and looked at me, she looked scared and lost.

-Jadee? Oh god! I can't believe is you!- She said as she jumped into my arms.- What happened to you? Are you alright? I was so lost and I wondered if I would ever see you again.

We sat down and I hugged her without saying a word, she was wet and shaking so I held her against my chest so she would warm up a little bit.

After a while she looked at me.

-Lets get out of here.-She said standing up

I held her had and we walked out of the hospital, it was raining outside, I hadn't seen the outside of the hospital in a while, I took my jacket off and put it on her shoulders.

-It's been a long time since I hadn't seen the rain.-I said as I looked up and let the rain wash my face.

-Really? It rained a few days ago.

-The past days are blurry and some of them are empty as if I wasn't here or something, away or even missing, I don't know but it's a weird feeling.

-Well, lets enjoy the rain.- She said and then kissed me.

The rain stopped and we walked with no where to go until we found a small dinner.

We ordered coffee and something to eat.

-So, do you remember what happened?- I asked Katy hoping she would.

-Well I remember... "We had Eminem blasting off the speakers, the view was amazing, the sunset was so relaxing and it was good knowing only the two of us where there.

You looked at me and caught me smiling.-She seemed distant but she smiled.- You said that the reflection of the sunset on my skin was amazing, that I looked so perfect, you said that I was almost glowing and that that moment was so magical, you also said that my red hair looked so perfect dancing to the rhythm of the wind, you even noticed the cherry lipgloss I was wearing, by the way I bought it because I knew you loved it.

You asked me to take my glasses off because you wanted to see my beautiful green eyes.

To me everything was perfect. -She looked at me and took a deep breath.- You turned your head and stared at me for a few seconds before you kissed my cheek. I couldn't stop smiling.

-I love you-you said to me.

-I love you more- I said in a challenging tone because I knew you would say something kinda like I was more perfect than you are.

-You really wanna go there, baby?- You asked smiling.

-Haha, no! We both know how that's going to end.

-I know haha the same way it ends every time you tell me I'm perfect.- I said rolling my eyes.

-But you are perfect!- You yelled and I thought it was embarrassing and it made me blush.

-Shhhh! What do you wanna do? Wake up the coyotes and all those wild animals?- I told you trying not to laugh.

"Coyotes? Really?- You asked making fun of me.- I'll scream it so all the world knows you and knows how perfect you are.

You opened your mouth as if you were going to scream but I covered your mouth with my hand. I looked at you and we started giggling, you took my hand off your mouth and started getting closer to me.- She stopped for a second trying not to cry.- You closed your eyes and leaned to kiss me, even tho the music was very loud I could hear a sound coming outside the car, just then I turned to see the road and violently moved the wheel, we almost crashed into another car that was coming our way.

You placed my hands on then wheel and there was a long moment of silence..."-She stopped.

-Wait , don't....-I said anxiously.

-Alright.-She said looking out the window.-Look it's raining again, smile.

I smiled and after a while we payed the bill and went out to enjoy the rain. We walked around holding hands with nowhere to go. We finally found a cheap motel to spend the night in.
