I leaned back on the couch waiting for the truth to come out. Mom had a past life and I was dying to hear about it. "I told Cherish to keep you away!" Mom snapped at Sierra. Then she glared at Davion. "You shouldn't have never brought her here."
"I think we had the right to know that we have an older sister." Davion snapped back at her.
"And I'm twenty-five years old, aunt Cherish said it was time I met you." Sierra said sounding a bit offended.
Mom stood up and gave Sierra an angry, hatred look. "I want nothing to do with you!" Mom yelled down at her. "You are a rape baby, a nightmare from my past!"
I sat up straight in the couch and wiped the smirk off my face. This was serious. Mom was raped when she was younger. No wonder she's so bitter now. I looked over at Davion; he had an unreadable expression on his face. I looked over at Romeo; he had an interested and shocked look on his face.
Sierra stood up with tears in her eyes and stood in front of mom. "If you didn't want me then why didn't you get an abortion?" Sierra asked.
"Because I couldn't afford it." Mom said in bitter tone.
Dang momma, why you gotta be so harsh?
Sierra paused and close her eyes tight. The tears she's been holding back ran down her cheeks and she made no effort in wiping them away. When she opened her eyes she looked at mom with hurt eyes. "You can't blame me for something my father did. I am your daughter!"
"No, you are my mistake!" Mom stormed out the living room and ran upstairs.
Sierra plopped back down in the couch and Davion pulled her close to him, letting her cry in his chest.
Dad stood up and cleared his throat. He had a stunned expression on his face like he was still trying to process what was going on. "Let her calm down and we'll talk about this later." Dad said and then made his way upstairs, probably to go check on mom.
I ran my fingers through my hair and let out an exasperated sigh. Out of everything I never thought my family would have this kind of drama.

"Forreal? I never expected anything like that from your momma." Kiona said to me over the phone. I had just told her the whole story of what went down a few hours ago. "She flaunts all of you around, even Romeo like y'all are her prize possessions. No one would ever suspect she had another kid."
"I honestly thought it was just the three of us. We all have a close bond. We all grew up together. I feel bad because Sierra didn't experience growing up with us as a family." I sighed.
I honesty felt bad for Sierra. She missed out on so much.
"Maybe you should talk to her. Even if your mom doesn't accept her, at least she'll feel some type of closure by having a relationship with her siblings." Kiona suggested.
"I'll definitely do that," I agreed. "After the way my mother treated her, I don't want her to feel any more alienated."
"Anyways, wassup with you and Tyson?" She asked. I could hear the amusement in her voice.
"Well," I said dragging out the word a little bit while a smile crept into my face. "We are kinda, sorta dating."
"Bitch what!" She exclaim causing me to remove the phone from ear for a few seconds.
"Geez, why the fuck do you need to yell?" I scolded.
"How long have y'all be dating?" She asked.
