Dad's been in the hospital for three weeks now. Doctors don't know what's wrong with him and his health is going up and down. They ran test after test and dad tested negative for everything. They have to keep him in the hospital until they're sure he's okay.

At this point there was nothing we could do but pray for dad. Life had to go on and sadly, so did mom's sick plan.

Right now, Kiona and Sierra were helping me pick out wedding invitations. My wedding was in four months and I haven't even sent out the invitations yet. "What about those ones?" Kiona said pointing to a fancy red invitation in the magazine.

"I don't like it." I said and flipped the page.

The colors of the wedding were red and silver. The decorations that we had so far were beautiful and the location was even better. Your bitch was getting married in Spain! Mom almost had a heart attack when I told her where I wanted to have the wedding. She flipped out even more when I told her she'll have to pay for my friends' flights and stay. She was only trippin' about the money because neither my dad and Mr. Williams was helping pay for this wedding since they didn't agree with it so everything was coming out of mom and Mrs. Williams bank account. The look on their faces when they write a check or swipe their credit card is priceless. It brings joy to my heart.

I had to admit though, planning a wedding is actually really fun. Picking out the flowers, the bridesmaids dresses, the flower girl dresses, everything was just so fun. The only thing that killed my joy during this process was the fact that I was marrying Chris.

Speaking of Christopher, I'm suppose to meet him for lunch tomorrow. We hadn't really talked since the day our parents made the announcement. The only time we talk was at the wedding shower our mothers threw for us two weeks after the announcement and that was only because we were forced to so we couldn't cause a scene. Even in church we never talked. At this point, I just couldn't stand him.

"What about these ones?" Sierra asked pointing to a picture of a pretty silver and red invitation with a silver bow on it.

"It's pretty," I said glancing at it.

"You don't have much time for this Kiërra," Sierra said. "Your wedding is in four months and people need to RSVP."

"In other words," Kiona cut it. "Make a damn decision!"

"Fine, damn." I said looking at them like they were crazy. "I pick that one." I pointed to the one Sierra picked out.

"I'll go make the call." Kiona said getting up from the couch.

"I know you're not so happy about getting married Kiërra but marriage is a beautiful thing." She said. "You never know, you might grow to love him."

"Have you thought of getting married?" I asked her.

"Yeah, but Derek and I can't afford a wedding right now and probably for the next few years. We still gotta pay off our student loans and take care of the twins before we think about a wedding."

It's too late now to give my wedding to Sierra but I got her next year, don't worry. Kiona came back shortly and announced that the invitations should be delivered in a week. Mom came in shortly after. "Priscilla and I have to go to Spain for the weekend to finalize some things for the wedding." She said.

"Can't that wait?" I asked her. "Dad is sick in the hospital and you wanna travel half way across the world for some stupid wedding."

"Me going to Spain has nothing to do with your father's health." Mom said in an annoyed tone.

"It seems like we're the only ones concerned about him."

She rolled her eyes. "I'm not arguing with you Miracle." She said and walked away.
