Within emo style, there are very many versions, but you could easily find out what's right for you.
Type #1; The Music Freak: This person typically only owns band tees and skinny jeans, and wears them EVERYWHERE. Not that that is a bad thing. They also usually wear converse or vans in typical colors like black or red.
Type #2; The Sweetheart: This is a softer, but still edgy look. This person usually wears a tank top with a floaty cardigan over top, but also throws in some ripped skinny jeans. To complete the look, they also might wear Toms.

Type #3; The Simplistic: This is usually just all black, nothing really else to it. A black tee shirt and black skinny jeans with black shoes is all you really need.
Type #4; The Lightheart: The Lightheart is someone who dresses a little more casually to be emo. They could wear anything really, being easy going with their style, by usually wear a trademark 90's choker to explain their title.
Type #5; The Comfy Cute: This person is ALL about their hats and hoodies. No matter where they are going they usually wear something nice but also comfortable. For this type, beanies are a MUST as well as at least one sweatshirt.
Thats all of the easiest to define and spot types, but you could mix and match them all! And don't worry is you worry about fitting into one of these boxes, try making your own! ~♡
