"Annnd done!" I smiled as I finished decorating my Christmas tree in my hotel room
"Now can we cuddle?" Brayden asked
"Cough cough desperate cough cough," I laughed before my phone rang
"Hello?" I asked
"Hey honey! Come to the studio ASAP! We have a special guest here who would love to record with you!" Bill said and I could practically here his smirk
"Oh! Um alright be there soon!" I said before he hung up
"I gotta go, I love you," I said kissing Brayden then making sure I looked good in the mirror
"But babe!" He whined
"I'll be back later," I winked before I left.

I walked through the door and almost fainted.

"H- hi," I choked out
"Hi! I'm Shawn," he said hugging me
"You're hot- I mean Kaylee! I'm Kaylee," I laughed nervously
"I know who you are! Your an amazing singer!" He said
"Heh thanks! I know who you are too, let's just say I went to a few magcon shows," I smiled
"No way! That's so cool!" He beamed
"Kaylee sweetie! I see you've already met my special guest!" Bill said coming in
"Heh, yea," I said looking at Shawn
"Well I've gotta song you both could sing!" He said

"Here go practice a few times and get to know each other!" Bill said giving us two papers and pushing us into my recording box
"Well looks like we're not getting out of here anytime soon," Shawn said as he tried to leave but the door was locked from the other side
"Oh geez," I said as I sat on my bean bag chair and grabbed my phone
"Oh I'm that boring?" He laughed motioning to me texting
"What? No no no! I was just texting my boyfriend and telling him that I'm gonna be gone longer than expected," I told him
"Nah it's cool! So should we practice?" He asked
"Sure!" I smiled standing up.

"I've planed a meeting over dinner with you, Shawn, Shawn's manager, and me," Bill said

"Come by the studio tomorrow at three Kaylee," he said before I left.

"BRAYDEN!" I screamed walking in my room
"Holy shit! Don't scare me like that," he said after throwing his phone
"GUESS WHO I JUST RECORDED WITH!" I yelled
"One direction?" He asked excitedly
"Ew no. SHAWN MENDES!" I screamed
"First off you are dead to me, second off OH MY GOD!" He screamed like a girl
"I know!" I smiled
"Was he as cute as me?" He asked
"Hmm, do you want me to answer that truthfully?" I asked
"Not really," he laughed
"Then you are the so much more cuter than him, but really though, you're my favorite!" I laughed
"Alright good," he winked and I laughed
"You know we still have to finish decorating," he said as i sat on the couch
"No, my hotel is done," I said shrugging my shoulders
"Not here! At the house!" He said
"Oh! Okay! I can't stay the night there though I have to be back here before three," I told him
"Leggo!"he screamed grabbing my hand and dragging me out the door.

We pulled up to the house and I smiled brightly. It's only been a week since I left but I still miss it.

I got out of the car and rushed up to the door.

"I'm here mother truckers!" I yelled throughout the house
"SHES RECORDING WITH ME FIRST!" Bee yelled from the living room
"NO! I need to record mineclash with her!" Zach yelled
"Nope. Too bad. I call dibs," Zack smiled coming to the front door
"I can record with you all!" I smiled
"But me first!" Ryan yelled hugging me
"Why ask me now? You guys know you can still record when I'm at my suite," I laughed at them
"We can?!" Mark asked
"Yessss," I smiled
"Oh," Mitchell commented
"So that's why I haven't heard from anyone," I laughed
"We thought you were busy!" Stacy exclaimed
"I'm never too busy for my best friends!" I told them.
