"Ladies and gentlemen, as we start our descent, please make sure your seat back and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and all carry-on luggage are stowed underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead bins. Thank You." The air hostess' voice echoed all throughout the small vicinity of the plane.

Making sure I have all my belongings with me, I fastened my seat belt once more and patiently awaited the landing. I'm not good with planes and heights, so riding one by myself was a commitment.

I had a 7:30 am flight from LA, it takes about 4 hours and 20 minutes to get to New Orleans. To say I was cranky was an understatement; I had to be at the airport 2 hours before my actual flight. Meaning I had to get up at 4:30 then bet at LAX by 5:30, damn TSA. Lucky for me I had no one seating beside me so I was able to sleep all throughout the flight.

"Ladies and gentlemen welcome to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Local time is 12:55 PM. For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign. This will indicate that we have parked at the gate and that it is safe for you to move about. Please check around your seat for any personal belongings you may have brought on board with you and please use caution when opening the overhead bins, as heavy articles may have shifted around during the flight. If you require deplaning assistance, please remain in your seat until all other passengers have deplaned. One of our crew members will then be pleased to assist you."

"On behalf of American Airlines and the entire crew, I'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice day!" The cheery voice of the flight attendant seemed to annoy me; like how can you be this cheery early in the morning?!

Waiting for the other passengers to get off, I stayed seated. When everyone was off, I stood up and gathered all my hand held belongings and made my way towards the exit.

"Thank You for flying with us, have a nice day." The same cheery flight attended greeted me as I got off the plane. I just smiled and nodded at her, too tired to form coherent sentences.

Making my way towards baggage claim, I turned on my phone. I was awaiting Anthony's text telling me where he'll be waiting for me. Spotting my numerous suitcases on the baggage carousel, I reached out trying to grab all of them when another arm reached for them and took them off the carousel.

Preparing to cuss who ever that arm belonged to, I turned around; but only to be greeted by the smiling face of Anthony. He was wearing a grey Pelicans tracksuit with a black beanie on top of his head. He manages to make simple outfits like this look extra good. Damn, I have a hot boyfriend.

"Welcome to New Orleans." He picked me up and spun me around.

"Stop. Put me down, I'm heavy you're gonna hurt yourself." I squealed, laughing.

"Please, you barely weigh like anything. You know with all my muscles and all." He flexed his arms, showing his impressive bulging arms. If we weren't in such a public place, I would be all over them muscles.

"Okay, Mr. humble. Let's goooooo." I rolled my eyes at him.

"It's good to be here. I thought you were gonna wait for me outside?" I asked him, picking up my suitcases.

"Well I was but I knowing you, you'll have a lot of stuff so I decided to help you out. And it seems I wasn't wrong with my assumption." He looked down at all my suitcases, carrying the rest with him and started walking towards the exit of the airport.
